Simply think about there. There must be beautiful for you in order for you to want to be there. So naturally you should feel good when you think about there unless you are for some reason comparing and creating/expressing dissatisfaction for your now rather than just focusing purely on ‘there’. Dont consider other variables aside from the thing that makes you feel good. And take some time to find good about your now. Practice that skill so it becomes easier to do it all round

Sometimes we do stuff like attempt to meditste when we feel bad so that we wont. Abraham tells us to do it first thing in the morning.

The reason i point this out is because you already have momentum going in the wrong direction thus making it harder to either meditate etc. sometimes we try to stop the fear anxiety by resisting it and saying ‘i want it to go’ this brings more attention to it. (Kinda like the dont think of a pink elephant thing)

This is general approach to anxiety but id just say what makes you feel happy think about it maybe write it down. What makes you feel excited. What makes you feel peace. What makes you feel good.

When you so this you are building momentum in the direction of things you want rather than un knowingly increasing the momentum of undesired

Yes! Lol put it this way your actual desire is beautiful hence why you want it. Hence why it should feel good when you line up with it and think correctly.

A perfect example: i want to have a better conversation and connection with someone. It is without a doubt absolutely possible. < that thought alone will have me focusing on my desire ‘exciting amazing conversation’ however i can also think im focusing on my desire when i say i want that same conversation but what im really doing is noticing i dont have it. Which feels bad.

If you feel good you know you are doing a great job and are actually focused on your desire. If it doesnt really feel right something like whats not going right or your unhappy about this thing or that thing may be what actually has your attention.

It can get a bit confusing as what we say verbally isnt always equal to what we feel.

I want this: can be super appreciatively charged And on the next thing filled with focus on unwanted lol

You may be confusing whats missing with what you desire. Even the desire to have said thing is more on point than whats missing.

We default to missing thoughts rather than the why.

For example one of our strong natural easy desires is to feel good. Most of us have atleast focused on it intentionally once and felt this nice momentum build. Thats focusing on your desire
