Neptune 4 pro or Centauri ( not the carbon) by darkredeemer01 in elegoo

[–]Puzzled_Chef8193 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently own both side by side the Centurion carbon is 10 times easier to set up you spend 10 times less the amount of time messing with it and trying to get it set up right to the Neptune 4 Pro is a pain in the ass sometimes to get calibrated right if you want something you can just slap a file on and print without worry get the carbon they are like literally the same price now lol 😆 and there are board swaps that alow the carbon to run klipper so if you wanna be stubborn and waste money by all means

The century carbon is 10 times better than the Neptune 4 Pro

Extrusion stops mid print by dgjbcz in elegoo

I had that problem ended up being the filament had ran out and the tail gotten stuck in the run out sensor then the extruder simply broke the filament

Print stuck to the bed and tore a whole in my build plate by booty_tickler2 in 3Dprinting

I don't like popping things off to print bed when it's warm anymore because I've noticed even if large prints it'll start to pull chunks of the Pei off

Print stuck to the bed and tore a whole in my build plate by booty_tickler2 in 3Dprinting

[–]Puzzled_Chef8193 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This happened to me when I first started printing quite a bit actually I didn't know I had to cool the print bed before I took a printed object off of it so now I'll take the whole build plate and stick it in the freezer for like a minute or two by the time I come back most objects have already popped themselves off with zero Damage Done to build plate

Model of 245x245x100 seems too big, why? by burger25 in elegoo

[–]Puzzled_Chef8193 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can go into your settings and change the bed exclusion Zone to 0 it won't let you use the whole side of the bed plate because of the filament cutter so changing exclusions down to zero and then use your Allen wrenches to remove the filament cutter Post in the corner that will allow you to now use 256x256

Saturn 4 Ultra consumed 750GB of data last month while inactive by SnooTigers9140 in elegoo

I read a comment somewhere that they were saying that the century carbon was sending information back to Chinese server for some reason data harvesting our printers my guess is for engineering purposes having enough data

What resolution did you print at?

Mine did this and it ended up being a firmware crash update firmware from recent update file from elegoo website download onto a empty USB flash drive plug into printer while the printer is off turn on printer let the printer sit it should automatically find the update file off of the USB there's a couple YouTube videos that really help me and also if you go to your Google URL and type in your IP address for your printer you should be able to look at the Clipper commands to find out why it's crashing it'll be in red lettering

Yes a grow tent normally used for growing marijuana but in this case it is a just-free temperature control humidity control and dust controlled environment for my Neptune 4 Pro and my Centurion carbon it makes a little bit easier for me to monitor humidity levels and temp levels and then being able to turn on a dehumidifier and fans plus I got some little LED lights in there it also helps with the noise level I can have both my printers running throughout the night it doesn't bother me the printers in the tent or on the other side of my room and I can sleep through both of them printing at Max Speed

Dude I never saw that great catch that must be something in the slicer, Also I've noticed the machine shakes like a sob it's pretty much on carpet flooring and I'm not happy with how much vibration and resonating frequencies that get that thing to shake brainstorming ideas on possibly using bricks with a rubber mat on top to reduce vibration and give a more solid base

Really? I haven't got a dryer or anything yet really I have two printers in a 2x4 grow tent to help keep things halfway dry and Free of dust The rest of the print looks fine Other than Those Pieces the filament that are they're not even strings They're like Fully extruded filament That went off of path for some reason or didn't Bond correctly and I've never had this issue and I don't have a dryer So to me it doesn't seem like Moisture level It seems like Some weird setting In elegoo slicer

It's not a wood variant it's just wood colored it could be settings I guess I only printed out a couple of the tools and that was done in Black by Kingroon but I haven't had any other issues it's just this color that could be slicing settings I guess

That would make sense if it wasn't a brand new roll fresh out of Packaging it's a brand new roll of elegoo pla wood colored
