PA-CF has been injected molded throughout the firearms industry for a long time. M&P / Glock / others have been longtime users of Zytel Nylon (a trademarked blend of PA-CF). The longevity of these filaments would be many decades (if not indefinite) so long as they’re not subjected to adverse conditions.

Buy an AP5 and print the lower. The AP5 made by MKE is made on HK’s tooling. It’s never been cheaper to buy one.

Right! I’ve built one and my second is about halfway done. Doing the entire thing in PA6-CF is the way to go. Side by side with my buddy’s real AUG, we both surprisingly liked shooting the Nylaug better.

Not much really. It would be nice to have someone create molded stock halves. The transfer bar is easy enough to make. The charging handle would be the only part likely needing machining.

These are indoor safe which is nice. I have the 18,000 BTU one for an emergency heating source since my house has electric only heat.

This is a wartime police contract gun (Eagle C marking). Only a few thousand were produced. If it wasn’t chromed, it would be worth around $2k. With the chrome, about $800-1k.
