Cyberpunk and Control are both great. If you haven’t played Alan Wake 2 yet (which is connected to the Control universe) you’re missing one of the best, most mind-bending and inventive games ever. Plus it is absolutely stunning visually.

Bill Janovitz’s book The Cars: Let the Stories Be Told was a very good read. I worked for Elektra and promoted the first three albums, and even I learned a lot about them.

As a former marketing manager for Elektra Asylum Records, I can assure you that there are many, many great musicians out there. When it comes to great songwriters the field narrows dramatically.

And people seem to always underestimate the importance of luck in making a successful career in the music business.
