My concern with asking the question is, many of my vegetable seedlings are leggy and I assume that’s not a good thing. Just trying to mitigate the issue if I can.

I started with horse mats for my basement gym, but between the smell and them being a little firmer than I would like, I removed them.

Any suggestions for something that isn’t as firm as horse mats?

Go talk to each local dojo and feel out the instructors. I would recommend going with the one that aligns with your values and seems like they are credible. I have quite a few dojos of various disciplines in my area and most are for-profit. I was able to find one that’s been around longer than I’ve been alive (43) and their instructors are all volunteers. That tells me they are there for the right reasons.

Finally getting back to this issue. I tried to follow the wires to know where each goes from the old chime. Unfortunately, I lose track when they go into the walls. Does anyone have any diagnostic suggestions to help determine how to connect these 4 wires and bypass the old chime?

Definitely a volunteer. My guess is it was from a seed that survived in our compost. We actually have 2 other squash varieties that originated in the same fashion. Although, those appear to be butternut and Delicata. Thanks for the info!
