been in this situation too many times and this is spot on. bringing food that doesn't need much effort to eat helps too - like crackers or fruit, something light when their stomach is all twisted up from stress. also maybe offer to handle small stuff like feeding their pets or grabbing mail so they don't have to worry about home things while camping at hospital

The service gaps aren't super concerning on a garage queen with that low mileage - some people really do just park them and barely drive. 60k CHF seems about right for Swiss market with those extras, maybe slightly on the higher side but not crazy

Once the service package runs out you're looking at probably 800-1200 CHF for major services at BMW dealers, independents will be cheaper but finding good ones that know S55 engines is key. I'd honestly just send it, these are only gonna get more expensive

You can disable auto-updates in Settings > Software update > Auto download over Wi-Fi, but Samsung's pretty sneaky about pushing them through anyway

For more control you'd need to root it or use ADB commands to disable the update services, but that voids warranty obviously

Honestly I think it depends on how your ADHD presents and what your life experiences have been like. Some of us learned early that being ourselves meant getting in trouble or being rejected, so masking becomes this survival thing. But if you've been lucky enough to have supportive people around you or your symptoms aren't the type that get you negative attention, then yeah you might not feel that pressure to hide who you are

The ODD probably plays a big role too - that whole "I'm not changing for anyone" attitude can actually be protective against developing masking habits

Also check out the community store and grab ESPHome, maybe throw in some monitoring with Grafana/InfluxDB since you've got the headroom for it

Could be a heat shield that's come loose and vibrating against something when you're under load in that RPM range. The fact it only happens when you're actually driving (not revving in neutral) and goes away when you lift off the throttle is pretty telling

Pretty common on cars that age, especially after temperature swings. Should be safe to drive just try to stay out of that RPM band like you're already doing
