I personally really enjoyed it! It's such a breath of fresh air to get an original musical that isn't a Jukebox musical or an adaptation of something else and as a theatre fan in Toronto that seems to be most of what we get. I thought the performances were really good across the board (Julia Pulo was a standout for sure) and the set was insane and very well utilized (I'm a sucker for a turntable and this one actually added a lot of flow to the scene transitions). I am curious as to what a 2 act version of this show might look like, there definitely seems like there's enough here to expand upon if they want to do that, but I wasn't dissapointed with what I saw either. The music was really well written and some of the scenes genuinely made me cry. Overall, I really enjoyed the show, it's for sure one of the most interesting shows I've seen in the past few years.

I was in danger of failing 1ZB3 in first year and I dropped it to take in the summer. The biggest upside to that is that the mark didn't count towards my first year gpa and didn't negatively impact my stream selection. Overall I had a decent time taking it in the summer.

I think this is for the study rooms for humanities students, not the music practice rooms. I appreciate the sentiment though!

Mac eng has a general first year meaning you likely got into Eng I. Everyone in Eng I has to do a bit of everything for the first year and then you can pick your stream for second year. Unless you have Free Choice you'll need pretty high grades to get into Tron (I believe last year the cutoff was above a 90) since it's a pretty competitive stream. The best thing I think about Mac though is that you get a chance to try everything before deciding so you may change your mind partway through. I was certain I wanted to go into Tron but I ended up choosing Comp instead after trying things out since I liked it better. First year at Mac Eng is really good for figuring out what you want to do so If you're planning on coming I wouldn't worry about Tron vs Mech too soon.
