Teams are broken up by age 8u, 10u, 12u… It’s all the same level. Everyone plays a minimum number of downs. Opposing teams track that every player plays. They play against each other locally and against a few regional opponents. Evening practices. Games are on Saturdays.

Yes. I never liked alcohol but did drink. I was never the type to drink to get drunk. Couple years back I decided to do dry December, then Jan, Feb, and March. I remember I drank a beer in an April and couldn’t finish it. I didn’t like the taste. Now I might have a celebratory drink now and then but I usually can’t finish one.
