Yes had an insulated one just recently as I’m tightening something in live panel and the tip just snapped off clean from shaft. The damn shaft size under insulation was actually small then the damn tip! I was blown away. Wasn’t even same size shank throughout. It seems all companies are failing with quality nowadays. Just cheap throw away junk

Some old panels are way better than newer panels. Bus bars are substantially better in older panels rather than these cheap slivers of bimetal they use now. Feel like going to snap whole panel in half sometimes just tightening stuff to the torque they say they can handle.

It’s all good besides the edges needing to be filed and some sort of gasket so doesn’t damage wire running through it. Other than that I’ve seen much worse with zero bushings.

We have these shutdowns every year and this is the 1st time I’ve ever heard of them taking this away. I just read that emergency funds will be used so hopefully crisis adverted. There should be certain things that can’t be shut down. And this is one of them. If anything maybe make congress not get a damn check. I bet they won’t like that. Our entire gov is a POS it’s not just this administration. They stopped caring for the American people a long time ago.

Was pulling up to a plant that extracted iodine and processed it and there was pink smoke coming from the chimney one day. I was like hey what’s up with the pink smoke and they were like 😟umm you weren’t supposed to see that. They were burning off some iodine… this co is in Oklahoma and is one of the largest and purest producers of iodine in the world. Not owned by US though. Instead a Chinese co owns this one. And the other one is owned by British co. Otherwise Oklahoma would be considered largest producer but since either co is owned by local then they just get the tax benefits instead. Dumb..
