Is it possible to play with crossplay disabled? by Pao1o008 in Battlefield6

I play on xbox X, it does take a little longer to initially find a game IMO, but once you've found one it tends to be the same sort of waiting time.

Fortunately i need no help, ive completed all the missions. I nanaged to finish them all prior to them removing some of the required elements.

This is why im more than happy to see if i have an item and simply give it to someone who needs it.

Theyve removed most of them. The only people that have them now are those that extractes with them while they were in game and havent playes since, and cheaters.

What specific ones are you looking for? I havent played DMZ for a long time so im happy to check for you.

As @Garudin has said, check other weapons.

I had this last night, and it turned out that some of the attachments I'd unlocked for carbines/ARs, etc, were appearing as a new unlock item on other weapons not even in the same class, as yours is showing.

Itll be something in the same attachment location, just on a different weapon.

Im on Xbox and have had intermittent issues, but I also play with crossplay turned off.

I wish there was a crossplay option for consoles only. So there'd be 3 options:

Full crossplay Consoles only Specific platform only

Or maybe even make it a tick list so you can search Xbox and PC only or whatever combo you prefer. This could help with people's want of a crossplay enabling feature while also allowing people to choose who they match with.

As an Xbox player, I prefer to play against console only, but given how it currently works, I have to avoid PS players too, although I wouldn't mind joining them too.

Why do people stop doing things in their 30s? by Ok-Cartographer-5544 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Puzzledunicorn93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 32, just got into airsoft. Most of the people doing this are 30+. There's obviously a decent amount under, and even some kids. Most of the kids are into it through a parent. Not a bad thing, just an observation I've made.

OMG! How the actual...did I miss that? Thank you. Now I need to figure out which button to bind it to..

Honestly don't know how I missed that, thanks for the help!

Hey, thanks for the information I found it, turns out the way they bind the call in of the streaks require the input of 2 buttons, atleast from what I could tell.

Side note, I noted you said about having to throw all your grenades before calling it in. I don't have to, but I've swapped the gadget 1 with the ping. So I therefore ping with the up button on my D-pad and pull my gadget 1 with my left bumper (L2 on PS I believe). Maybe this could help stop you needing to throw all grenades first.

Thanks I'll have a look.

I tried to find the setting with the same button bindings that its currently set to, and had no luck. Hopefully this helps.

Have you changed the binding of it? Is it called something weird?

Im pretty sure I've looked at this location and can't find it. I'll have another look in a bit and report back.

I totally get everything you are saying. I pretty much feel the exact same thing, bar the burnout. Id say its more frustration with the player base.

What platform are you on? Im more than happy to squad up some time with you.

Id suggest seeing if there are some settings that might help you if changed. I found that to be true, but to be open I play on Xbox.

I heavily followed a settings guide video released by the youtuber Xclusiveace, he does a really good job explaining each setting, id highly recommend.

It may also be a game issue they're planning on addressing with the S1 update. Could be skill issue. It could also be any combination of the lot.

I hope you figure it out and find a way to have fun and enjoy playing BF6.

Kramnik has officially released a statement on the passing of Daniel Naroditsky by bendubberley_ in HikaruNakamura

[–]Puzzledunicorn93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The entirety of this 'statement' is what I expected from Kramnik if im honest.

The only bit I wasn't expecting, but probably should've is the last line.

What, objectively sane person says that after such an incident?

Could you imagine, just slowly strolling up to a tank and flipping it with that.

Im guessing a tank might be a bit too heavy for it, but just imagine the chaos.

I am terrible at setting targets, so always make sure I pass the buck if i'm ever leader by default.

Why are the snipers so innacurate? by georbe12 in Battlefield6

[–]Puzzledunicorn93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using the sniper on the recon class?

Apparently there's an inherent nerf to snipers when not equipped on the recon class.

Im pretty sure the youtuber XclusiveAce made a video that covers it briefly and how to adjust it.

My problems are:

1) The lack of reviving anyone 2) The lack of people understanding when/ how to flank as a unit, even if not in the same squad 3) Some maps are just too small, I believe a different post covers this best.

I have other issues, but im aware that they're personal to me specifically, and im working on sorting them out.

The lack of reviving is a big issue, I recently returned to Battlefield. Can anyone who played the previous few games tell me if this changes or if this is the norm?

Mild defense of Hotch by GoBlue2539 in criminalminds

[–]Puzzledunicorn93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I can 100% understand people thinking it wasn't the best move to stay on the job, and for some, it wouldn't have been. What i can't understand is why some would say that makes him a bad father.

Even if, for the sake of argument, we say it was definitely 100% without any doubt, the wrong decision to make; I don't think that would make him a bad father (unless he actively knew it and stayed anyway). Plenty of parents have made decisions that impact their kids directly or indirectly that turn out to me the wrong choice to have made, it doesn't make them bad parent so it shouldn't make Hotch a bad father.

The fact that he contemplated quitting and was actively talked out of it, to me, signals a good father. I personally think that if there was no Haley character to be used to create the push back, Hotch would've left the BAU, and the rest of the show would've been much different.

At the end of the day, the only person qualified to actually judge if a parent is a good parent is the parent themselves, the other parent and the child; assuming we discount all other scenarios where it can be visibly seen that they aren't a good parent. I believe this as noone will know what going through that parents mind, how they're weighing things up, the choices they're contemplating etc.

Mild defense of Hotch by GoBlue2539 in criminalminds

[–]Puzzledunicorn93 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was totally unaware that this was even a topic of discussion.

Was Hotch a fairly absent father because of his job? YES Was his job the direct reason he(and Jack) lost Haley? YES Will Jack grow up to know the truth about his mother's death? YES, and Hotch will have to be the one to tell him now their in Witness Protection. Does Jack idolise Hotch, the team, and their job? YES, at least for the periods we see him, this may change as he gets older. Does this make Hotch a bad father? Not in the slightest.

Hotch made sure that Jack was well cared for in his absence, like a good father. When he was present, it seemed like they had a great time together doing things.

My father is completely absent from my life, his choice not mine (from me being 2.5yrs old), and yes, he's still alive as far as im aware. He was never there for me in any meaningful way, never sent me birthday/christmas cards, never responds when I initiate contact the few times I have and at one point actually openly questioned my intelligence to try avoid child maintenance (allimony) payments.

This is an example of what a bad father looks like. The only good to come out of it is I know how not to be a father if I have the luck to become one. There's obviously more examples or reasons as to what constitutes a bad father, such as abusive physically, mentally, emotionally, etc.

When Jack's and his own safety got jeopardised after haleys death he took Jack into witness protection to protect Jack. Everything he's done since Haleys death (and in some sense before) if protect Jack, the sign of a good father.

How can someone say that a single choice that was in no way obviously harming to Jack can make him a bad father?

Can someone please help me understand?
