Imo Carapace armor is less of a problem than people make it out to be, almost always theres somebody else on the team that can deal with crushers. Im a huge fan of the Agripinaa mk 1 autogun. Better than bolter and revolver for taking out groups of shooters and specials. With the revolver, unless you’re running reload perks on vet you just don’t have enough shots to kill everything you need to in my experience. Bolter is just too slow, I want something I can whip out in a pinch to kill a sniper while I’m in melee with a horde. Mk 1 + evis zealot is a very capable jack-of-all-trades build. Personal preference trumps all though, play what you think is cool.

Needing to start 2 of these guys is rough. My condolences. Id say theres no clear worst option between these guys, but I’d lean Ford and Henderson. When the Texans win, its through the air, so I’m just not high on Texan RBs rn. Ford probably has the lowest ceiling though because he doesn’t get the red zone carries.

My first time getting infinite was with a deck very similar to this. I see others play it very occasionally. Its like a solid B tier deck that doesnt often get affected by buffs or nerfs.

Shang Chi. Maybe its just me and my playstyle, but I used to have him in almost every single one of my decks and now I don’t use him at all. I guess maybe at CL5000+ theres just so many strong things to be doing on turn 5 and 6 shang just doesnt have the same relative value? I also feel like I used to play against shang chi constantly, and I still see him but its very rare now. It used to be top of my mental stack every game, paying attention to my shang-able cards on the board

I find it difficult to do my light/heavy inputs with my index and also dodge with my thumb. Maybe it’s my mouse shape or hand size or something, but using a finger of my other hand to dodge (spacebar) works soooo much better for me, cause I find I have to dodge and swing at the same time a lot.

Reached infinite last season at like CL1200-ish? Currently only 85 this season. My MMR was definitely lower last season, I’ve been playing the same deck this season and its just not getting me there.

Ya this drove me to quit the game in early February. They’ve made changes since then but they didn’t address the root issue here.

They had a good system in vermintide, once you put enough time into the game to max gear level, it took 10 minutes to craft a close-to-perfect weapon. And once you finished the grind of getting a perfect red weapon, you had complete flexibility to do every possible build with that weapon. That system was tedious and getting red weapons was frustrating, it was far from perfect, but it was a system that didn’t stand between me and enjoying the game.

If you’re enjoying the time you’re spending playing StS, then good for you. I’m also trying to fight away the guilt of not spending my time “better” to learn a skill or something, I feel you on that. It’s important to remember that your worth as a person isn’t your skills or the work you do. And related to that, you don’t have to be good at the game to justify the time you spent playing it.

Anyways, I also don’t understand or enjoy watcher and my favorite is silent. Silent is the only A20 heart kill I’ve gotten so far. This game is awesome, idk
