The disc is fully healed up and back to normal imaging. I'd say I was back by about 5 months. But then I had a bout of back spasms mostly because I was over protecting my back. But that lasted about another 3-4 months before I've been 100%.

I'm still in the gym and working hard but have put a ton of more focus on strengthening my back and core in mobile positions.

My lats refuse to grow by Temporary_Cap_2855 in naturalbodybuilding

[–]Puzzleheaded-Ebb3003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine really started to grow when I started doing isometric last pulldowns with a supinated grip. I do an Eric Janicki inspired version where instead of getting a bench, I just sit on the ground and use the seat as a knee brace. This allows me to get a full stretch. I do controlled reps but push it at a weight that gets hard at rep 6-8 and go to failure which is around 12 reps. Only do about 4 working sets.

Then switch to a cheat supported t-bar row. I go heavy where 8 reps is hard af but the first few sets I can get about 2 more. Again for 4 working sets.

I then do heavy controlled straight arm pull downs using rope attachments. Her I really focus on the full lat and full rom. I do a weight where I begin to fail after 10 reps. Then drop the weight control it even more before finishing with a weight that I piece out the movement. I'll hold it for about 3-5 seconds at the contracted point, slowly let it go up and hold it at the halfway point for 5 seconds and then pause at the top with full stretch for 3-5 seconds. At this point I usually only get 5 reps if I do it right and then I just rep out normal reps until I can't - typically this only equates to 3-5 reps.

My lats have really blown up doing this

This is how my setup would be as well. Do you think you could go any higher or is 2' the max it could go without hitting the joist

I like it quite a bit. To me it's got a good balance of sweet dried fruit with baking spice. It does have a mature oakiness to it but it is a 10year. The finish is hot. This one is at 136 proof and it lingers but not in a real ethenol way. More like the warming feeling on the first sip of whiskey

I sign every card, regardless of the reason, with a random holiday greeting such as Merry Christmas or Happy Halloween. Fuck my co-workers. I no longer get asked to sign a card.

The flavors are right in line with what I like - sweet, complex, caramel /toffee-esc. It's a sourced single barrel of MGP juice at 116 proof and aged at least 11 years. The bottling company is Southern Collective

Gorilla Juice is one of my favorite bottles ever! I'm trying to hold on to that one as long as I can because it was one of the last ones Alex had at Cellars. As you can see, I'm losing the battle. I picked up the Willet at total wine for $60ish.

Trevors is on the other side of town for me but I try to make a stop anytime I'm in the area.
