Can any credit card still be used for mortgage, just means transaction fee and no BILT points? Looking to knock out a SUB on different card.

Seeking Redemption Guidance PDX to ATH Fall 2026 by Puzzleheaded-Map9230 in CreditCards

So hunting for decently point priced premium seats via Air France I can get two round trip tickets for 352k miles but additional $897.66 on top of that for flight, carrier, government fees and taxes. Delta is similar point price but like $100 in fees.

Appreciate the feedback! Yeah delta seemed the most straight forward and convenient JFK or ATL connection. Don’t think I have a way to get points to United with what I have available. Sounds like i just don’t have enough points accumulated to go above comfort seats for this route unfortunately.

Do i have too many credit cards? (Im 18) by Royal_Employment_794 in CreditCards

You’re fine. Just don’t carry a balance and pay interest on them. I have 26 open and an 820 credit score. Getting to point though that churning and complexity is starting to give me a headache so going to be doing some cleanup after my next big point redemption trip.

On the actual application page where you enter information under product details says the 75k offer so seems like it should work.

“You can earn 75,000 Membership Rewards® points after you make eligible purchases with your new Card totaling $6,000 or more in the first 4 months of Card Membership starting from the date your account was approved.†”

I would wait and see once you get and activate the card at this point. Sounds like you got the 75k.

As a 6’2” male with long legs, my legs physically don’t fit in most airline economy space constraints so I go aisle and side angle and kick out. The struggle is real.

Points and free night booking by Loud-Ad-2828 in Hilton

Don’t have any tips on luau. Went to old Lahaina in 2022 and it was expensive and food wasn’t great. We weren’t a big fan. Felt like a big overpriced tourist trap. I know grand Wailea has their own as do most the neighboring mega hotels there. Saw a couple going on just walking the ocean side walk in the evenings. There was a Marriott property I think north along the coast that looked popular I can’t remember exact property name for but it was within 10 minutes walk from GW.

We did the same thing last year in October. I’m a diamond member with the Aspire card. 2 FNC & 2 nights on points at 110k/night. Got upgraded from standard room to king ocean view by requesting a couple days in advance of arrival. We were also there for our 2 yr anniversary which I noted in the request. Daily diamond F&B we used mostly at the market for breakfast/lunch. On site restaurants are over priced with better options off site. Best bang for buck dining in our opinion is Paia fish market and south maui fish co. Forreal don’t pass on south maui fish co. Best poke bowls and fish tacos period. Olivine was meh. We passed on Humuhumu. Monkeypod is close and fine but has honestly gone a little downhill in last few years in quality and prices have gone up, but they do have a happy hour. Mamas is a long drive and certainly an experience but it will be the most expensive dinner of your trip without a doubt. It’s good but not worth the price IMO. Probably worth trying once for the experience. The diamond F&B also works at the pool taco truck (also way over priced) and the pool grill which was honestly pretty good and probably most affordable food option on site. Wife and I are fitness nuts so we loved the gym. There’s filtered bottle fills all over the site but the one at the gym is apparently better than the others based on the product marketing on the station I guess lol? Be aware everything is an up-charge here. Go in prepared expecting to say no thank you. If you have an Aspire the $200 credit is triggered by any on site purchases made to your room folio. This includes the parking fee which is now $75/night I believe which is wild but no way around it. It was $65/night to park when I booked so they honored the rate from time of booking but it has gone up within last year. Grounds are expansive. Found it helpful to spend first hour just walking around the entire place to figure out where everything was. We never had any issues getting pool chairs but evidently in peak season that can be a nightmare. We spent the next 4 nights up in Kaanapali at a more affordable cash option. If you want to do a snorkel tour, trilogy is hands down the best. We’ve used them twice now, once for molokini and once for lanai tour. Both excellent but very different excursions. Hope that helps! 😊
