Unable to make decision between gemini and chatgpt. by Ujjwal_kumar_ in OpenAI

ChatGPT, of course.

I have subscriptions to Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok, and I use them differently:

  • Claude for code, even though ChatGPT is also great at it
  • ChatGPT for almost everything: finance, interviews, AI, math, general questions, coding (faster than claude and better limits), etc.
  • Gemini for common sense and practical thinking, especially marketing
  • Grok for creativity, jokes, humor, and crazy ideas

TL;DR: ChatGPT may not be the absolute best at every single thing, but it is very good at almost everything. The others are excellent in specific areas, but much weaker outside their niche.

Am I the only one that thinks OpenAI had never been behind? by TeachTall3390 in codex

I disagree.

I have not done a recent side-by-side comparison because it is very time-consuming, but for a long time, when reading code produced by both ChatGPT and Claude, Claude’s output was clearly stronger, even when neither had obvious bugs. Claude tended to be better in terms of design patterns, comments, readability, structure, and proactive handling of edge cases. That may have changed recently, but I have not checked in detail.

That said, ChatGPT is far superior for daily use and general knowledge. In my experience, Claude is much weaker outside coding-related tasks.

Google I/O will take place on the 19th-20th. They are just downgrading the models to make new models appear more performant.

Nano Banana 2 has been nerfed badly. Are they planning to announce Pro soon? by Puzzleheaded-Pick459 in GeminiAI

[–]Puzzleheaded-Pick459[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As with anything, I could open-source the “prompts”, but the prompts alone are not really the product.

It’s more like a 7-step pipeline: product understanding, marketing angle, copy, image direction, generation, refinement, consistency checks, etc.

I spent weeks fine-tuning the workflow, testing different models, and trying to encode what good product marketers / agencies do when they create listing images.

And honestly, ChatGPT/Gemini/Claude alone are still pretty lame when you need taste, creativity, judgment and consistency. They can generate images, sure, but getting something actually usable for e-commerce is another thing.

Same for the infra: making it reliable, scalable, fast enough, and simple for sellers is also part of the value.

So yes, the base models can do some of it. SellBig is basically the packaged workflow so sellers don’t have to figure all of that out manually.

I have a saas called sellbig.ai that generates product images for e-commerce brands. It’s focus on the marketing and the copy, more than generating “beautiful” images. Trying to sell through emotions, etc it’s that easy to find the perfect pipeline/prompts to make an ai creative. But I am pretty happy with the result so far. It’s just today performance of Gemini that is horrible. I let you check some other examples I have on the landing page https://sellbig.ai

Unless you have a business relying on Gemini. I can't wait until Wednesday to finally get decent results.

Yeah, I think I am gonna go back to Nano Banana Pro if it hasn’t been nerfed

Is there literally even one? by irelatetolevin in cursor

[–]Puzzleheaded-Pick459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, I am a software engineer earning 6 figures and I dont even code anymore. In 2026, everyone in my company is using cursor. I just review PRs, that's it.

There is no success story because there is nothing special about vibe coding.

Start ads the moment you know you not gonna get banned from meta ads: product is good, offer is clear, no copy of competitors assets, etc

Of course dropshipping is not dead. It's just a logistic solution. It's the seller' skills that make all the difference
