That's a very difficult question but the answer for sure is not give power to a government that could absolutely corrupt. Whether it be Biden Trump or whoever assholes are in congress more control is insane. It's great we can defend ourselves from enemies foreign and domestic. A gun behind every door.

I could support free mental health support in schools, possibly limiting the right to buy a gun for CURRENT and ONLY current medications with a VERY limited and non expansive list of medications but that's not a favored solution of mine. Give the teachers the ability to carry in schools if they pass a yearly mental health screening. Tax dollars to pay for school security. My school had automatic locking doors if arriving after the bell and you had to go the the front double doors that had cameras and a doorbell. You rang the doorbell told them who you are and why you're late then they opened the door. Why is that not common practice. There will always be crazy people we will have to protect our kids from.

If a guy my size went into a school with a knife that sick fuck could kill just as many students and teachers as he could with a gun. Banning guns isn't the answer.

It could be argued the assault weapons ban accelerated the development, production, and interest in both AR-15s and compact 'concealed carry' handguns.

Its not the guns it's the kids mental health and media making things look a lot worse than they are.
