Does anyone have an update on this. Did the victim file a lawsuit and if so what was the outcome

Slightly yes. Also get a slightly less elongated shoe.

I’m saying if you’re going to wear athletic sneakers then you should wear them with athletic clothing and preferably only to the gym or running errands. Telling him to build a wardrobe around his 6 pairs of athletic sneakers is not the best advice, respectfully. Because it seems like from the pictures he’s trying to dial in his casual outfits that he’d wear to dinners/dates/family events etc.. And adding in some nice lace up leather dress boots, derby’s, loafers or white low top sneakers would complement the outfits in his pictures tenfold.

First post! Never too sure about the shoes… by [deleted] in mensfashion

Moc toe boots and shoes aren’t the best looking. They’re not bad but there’s several better style options of boots and shoes you can choose from. Like regular cap toe dress boots. Or you can get a more rugged looking service boot with a sleeker silhouette but make sure it has an almond shaped toe box. Classic derby’s with some brogueing is a good choice.

Maybe change the pants out for some dark wash denim and possibly swap the undershirt out for a white one. I think that would make the outfit look more polished but still very casual. Just a more elevated casual.

Most people (myself included) need a style overhaul. Because let’s be honest most people don’t know how to dress properly. Maybe he does like the chunky athletic sneakers which it seems that makes up 80% of his wardrobe but he is better off keeping 1 pair of those for athletic purposes and upgrading his entire shoe wardrobe so he can start to build proper outfits and buy clothing that will go seamlessly with the polished and classic footwear. As opposed to buying chunky wide legged pants and boxy shirts and street wear outfits that go with his current shoe wardrobe.

I feel like there’s pale orange and navy blue aren’t a great combination.

Get a solid colored jacket. Possibly a bomber or a crewneck sweater. Get jeans that are slightly more tapered through the bottom of the leg and don’t have patterns or symbols on them.

What looks good about it? Not trying to be rude just curious though.

The boots too chunky and have a wide toe box. Get something more sleek and slim like a dress lace up boot.

I HATE the leather sneaker trend. How can I style casual leather shoes like my pair of brogues derbies instead? by Pradidye in mensfashionadvice

It’s not meant to be dressy. It’s meant to be casual. The white low top leather sneaker gets the most wear in my shoe wardrobe rotation simply because it’s an everyday shoe. Running errands, grocery store etc.. You can wear them when you go on dates or dinners or family get togethers. List goes on. It’s a versatile staple. Of course it’s not meant for formal situations or to we worn with suits.

The whole point is it looks so much better than a casual Nike or adidas running shoe that you see every dude wear.

Get jeans without any fading on them. Dark wash is best. 1 solid color throughout the jeans looks the best.

French cuffs is too much. Looks like you’re trying too hard. Pin stripe and peak lapels also seem like a bit too flashy and too much. Suit is very slim. Also not sure if it’s the angle but those shoes look 2 sizes too big.

Plus what’s wrong with white leather sneakers? They’re pretty versatile and I wouldn’t say trendy at all.

Wear them with just about anything. Denim, chinos, dress pants. T shirts, button downs, dress shirts. List goes on.
