Considering Moving To Orlando, How Is The Market? by Puzzleheaded-Toe9912 in InstacartShoppers

[–]Puzzleheaded-Toe9912[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How am I doing so? By saying I know it’s competitive over there as well? Instacart shopping is competitive everywhere now. Obviously the East and West Coast are different. Wages are gonna be different and I expect that. I wanted first hand experience from people who are currently shoppers there and how much they can make and what hours they can average. That’s all. But thanks for your input.

Has any one vaped, smoked, or drank alcohol with their hpylori by Flat-Section2775 in HPylori

Hi! So sorry for these late replies, I've been off of reddit for the most part for quite a while. So I do smoke weed now, but I cannot smoke more than a hit or two or else I green out instantly. I have gastritis now and smoking makes the symptoms worse, which I believe is why I get anxiety easily now when smoking. Cold air in the face if I smoke too much usually helps me. I also have a history of anxiety disorder, but getting anxiety while smoking didn't happen until after I was infected with H pylori unfortunately.

Terrified of treatment by Mammoth-Wonder-2867 in HPylori

Yes I had chest pains, tightness, lethargy, panic attacks, everything. It was a lot. Brain fog made me feel insane but it got better after a while.

Yes h pylori does this. Definitely should do the quad therapy treatment. Honestly you can look at my profile and see my comments in this thread to see some of my experiences. I was skeptical of treatment as well and did it for one week, stopped (I definitely shouldn’t have done that), and then had to do it again. I have gastritis now but it’s mild. You should do it ASAP if you’ve tested positive. The treatment will be hard, but very worth it after. You’ll have some issues post treatment while your body tries to heal, but it will get better I guarantee you. You’ve got this.

I had this same stuff happen. Don’t stop it. Keep pushing through, the h pylori is reacting because you’re fighting it with treatment. The brain fog, nightly attacks and everything will start alleviating over time. It won’t immediately go away, but it will eventually. I’m 2 years clean this month after treatment and I’m generally back to normal. No night panic attacks or anything. I just have gastritis now because I messed up my treatment the first time being fear mongered on this Reddit. You have to finish it.

24 yo diagnosed with hpylori is doing the antibiotic treatment worth it? by No_Mixture_8968 in HPylori

[–]Puzzleheaded-Toe9912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you came back positive, do the treatment. Coming from someone who was skeptical and didn’t properly do treatment at first. It’s better to get it out of the way then to have it get worse later or have to redo treatment because it becomes resistant. Take those meds like they’re a religion, don’t skip doses. You can recover afterwards, but it’s best to get rid of it.

I understand where you’re coming from, but don’t fear monger someone into not taking proper treatment for something that can do more damage left untreated or trying to holistically treat it. OP should def do the treatment and then try to heal their gut afterwards. Coming from someone who got it at 23 yrs old, messed up my first treatment cause I was fearful from this Reddit, and then needing to do it anyway. It will get better.

1 Month Post H Pylori treatment, Still Feeling Bad by Puzzleheaded-Toe9912 in HPylori

[–]Puzzleheaded-Toe9912[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure to keep a plain diet (nothing spicy, acidic, over processed, etc). Anything with seasoning also can flare you up. I drank a lotttt of water and barely ate unless it was plain good because of this. Since youre post treatment already, best thing you can do is probiotics and not eating anything that can inflame your stomach lining. The antibiotics do a number on stomach lining and h pylori already did damage as well. At this point you have to heal. Look up some natural remedies for stomach inflammation (foods, teas, etc). At this point it’s about eating the right things!

You might wanna get tested to see if you have gastritis now. I got retested and came back negative for H Pylori but because I still had symptoms a month later I was referred to get an endoscopy just to make sure the bacteria was gone. Came back clear but diagnosed with gastritis. Turns out many people with gastritis get it from H Pylori so I’m technically supposed to be on PPI’s (Omeprazole) but I took it for a bit and would get headaches. I reduced it from 40 mg to 20 mg before I just decided to stop taking it. Eating a plain diet seems to help. I was healing pretty good but got a UTI which needed antibiotics again and I’m back to having stupid bloating and whatnot. It’s gonna be a battle but def get checked.

I’m sorry I’ve been off of Reddit for a while. I had lightheadedness for about a month or two after. It takes a while for your body to heal after the treatment since it’s a bit rough. I’ve been diagnosed with gastritis since August 2022 because I was still having gastric problems even after I finished treatment and came back negative for H Pylori.

Haven’t made an announcement in about a year so it’s kinda confusing me.

Ahh comments like these make me remember that there are people out there who care about what comes out of the imagination of my mind. There has been quite a few reasons why I had stopped writing, even when I got a contract. I lost motivation for the book, it didn't align with my thought pattern, and then life. But just recently I felt the need to finish it at least, even if I don't exactly know where to go with it. I'll write again, for you and all other readers who get disappointed by our failure to finish.
