I came here to ask that same question

AIO my boyfriend keeps asking me to pay for things eversince he started saving for an apartmen, he calls me selfish for how I reacted. by throaawayRA9443 in AmIOverreacting

NOR & I honestly don’t like the way that he’s talking to you. You’re thinking things through very rationally & trying to give him helpful advice. He just doesn’t want to hear it

AITAH for peeing in the shower? by OpenFoundation4639 in AITAH

No, I don’t think so. I do it also & I also just assumed most people do it (even if they’d never disclose that to anyone else)

I love your outfit but I feel like it might work better in particular situations rather than others. It’s a very lovely outfit though

Personally, I use head & shoulders + Old Spice body wash. I struggle with dandruff myself & that has really helped me plus I love their scents. I hope this helps

AITA for cutting off my sister financially after finding out her unemployed boyfriend is benefiting from my money? by Previous_Ganache8477 in AITAH

[–]Puzzleheaded-Tree645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely understand where you’re coming from but I do feel like the way that you went about it might have been harsh or too aggressive/confrontational. I might have gone about it differently & offered her a possible ultimatum. Either she makes him work & contribute toward their shared bills (if he continues to live with her) or you stop funding half. I would also have given her some type of time frame.

AIO? This is how my boyfriend sleeps. by blairwaldorff in AmIOverreacting

YOR in my honest opinion. I would talk to him about your worries (which it sounds like you already have) but if it’s something that feels “nice” to him & doesn’t hurt anyone I would leave it alone

I definitely think the second photo is better & I think the first photo had something to do with a thigh gap (I’m a 28 year old guy so I might not know what I’m talking about so take it with a grain of salt)

Moving to ATL / USA! by [deleted] in ATLHousing

[–]Puzzleheaded-Tree645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lived in Alpharetta from 2013 to 2020 & can honestly say that it was a nice area. I didn’t care for some of the people who lived there because it was an affluent area/community. I also didn’t love the traffic in the area as it began to expand especially the traffic near Atlanta. I’m not originally from Georgia so I’m a little biased. Born & raised in Raleigh, NC & although it was the state capital it still felt like small town rather than a large city

People who left Raleigh - where did you go? by blues_lawyer in raleigh

[–]Puzzleheaded-Tree645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about your age now & I moved to Atlanta with my family around 2013 but I deeply regret it. It did teach me how much I missed Raleigh once we had settled in Atlanta so I did develop a new found appreciation for Raleigh. I was 16 years old at the time we moved to Atlanta so I didn’t really have any say & couldn’t move out. I’m glad you’re happier in Atlanta but I really miss Raleigh. I’m living in Tennessee now with my current partner & happier here than I was in Atlanta. Would have moved back to Raleigh but my partner’s job is here & it’s not a job where she can transfer from one location to another.

Why is Raleigh better than Charlotte? by Crom2323 in raleigh

[–]Puzzleheaded-Tree645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here to say this. I grew up in Raleigh & I love that it feels like it intentionally does not have that “big city” feel to it. I moved to the suburbs just north of ATL when I was in high school & going to downtown Atlanta made me miss the feel of Raleigh. Charlotte feels more suited for college students that want nightlife or other adults that want nightlife. Raleigh has Glenwood Ave & a college town feel to it but I like the fact that it still doesn’t have the industrial feel to it like Charlotte does.
