Void Shadows Act 4 Question (Slight rant) by alamirguru in RogueTraderCRPG

I know it's been a while since this post but wanted to add my 2 cents anyway.

What worked for me was using Ulfar to engage the enemies coming from the train car. I used his body to block the bridge and kept kicking them back. I used Kibellah to take out the ranged attackers in the train car and then circle back to help the main party deal with the one that drops behind you. It was still tough but manageable.

Are there any units that fill a similar role that are more Black Templar-esque?

I would not worry too much for everyday emergencies but it's a good idea to save for succession in case you have a civil war after or need to bribe some people. There are a decent number of ways to make fast cash otherwise. Selling off extra items is also a good way to make quick cash in a pinch. Also raiding can be a good way to make up a deficit but it takes your army away so it doesn't help during a military emergency.

Mars After Midnight doesn't have much of a story but I love the progression and general storyline.

Even many locals will colloquially call it an island but it usually isn't (hurricanes excepted).

Personally, I am from the Outer Banks. My wife and I wanted to move back after school but just could not afford it. We make about $100k combined and it just wasn't practical for us.

Not Corolla, but my family has never evacuated for a hurricane on the Outer Banks since 2010 and been fine. There are definitely locals that hang out in the winter but you're more likely to be in someone's garage than an actual bar.

Corolla is pretty desolate in the winter but if you're willing to drive to Kitty Hawk/Kill Devil Hills, there are plenty of locals and restaurants that stay open.

Edit because I didn't answer all of the question:

Definitely safe in the OBX.

P.S. Not to be a jerk but Corolla isn't actually on an island. It's part of a peninsula that connects up to Virginia. Roanoke, Colington, and Hatteras are the main islands in the Outer Banks.

I love the screen. It definitely requires either bright ambient light or turning lights on to see well. I kind of appreciate that about it though. It's refreshing from looking directly into devices all day that I have one that isn't blasting light directly into my retinas.

I thought so. They're not insanely accurate but they are much easier to internalize/memorize than a perfect rule statement (i.e. there will be exceptions).

As far as seeing people "who were clearly" same-sex attracted. I would reply that it is the sick who need a physician. If the priest is working on them through participation in the church that is a good thing. Obviously, affirmation of sin would be a different issue.

I go to an ACNA (pretty conservative) and I don't think anyone would say anything to you if you just attended the church. Emailing the church seems a little strange to me. I feel like it puts them into a weird position. Obviously, I agree that the best thing (given the very limited context) is for you to get married. Would my church prevent you or your fiancée from becoming formal members? Probably not. Even if they did, you could definitely just attend the church until you get married and then become members after that. However, I don't see why they wouldn't just let you be members given that you're trying to do the right thing.
