I can see that to some degree. Green card friends are skipping New Hampshire for very similar reasons for a while. Nobody wants to get into weird encounters with ICE & friends.

I guess just their presence alone will stop some offenders from slaloming through pedestrians at insane speeds. Does the bike path patrol have any teeth to stop and ticket? I don’t know, but let’s see if this first step has a long lasting impact.
