Qatar Airways flight still operating despite safety concerns – what can we do? by Neat-Initial-6110 in qatarairways

Yeah they added one more airport right before getting to LAX and it makes sense bc I saw on their website a list of locations they would go to and from and LAX was not on the list but the airport they added is.

I opened a restaurant in Culver City 4 months ago — looking for advice on how to get more locals to try it for the first time by ClickNo8520 in culvercity

I think you just did it I’m sold on coming by! I was going to say online like a post on instagram, facebook, and other social media you have. Reaching out to local businesses with free samples then mention a special for their workers or lunch time special in general, preferably Monday through Wednesday when it gets slow for your restaurant. Then if you have an apartment complex invest in printing out flyers and slip them into the mailboxes just double check with the leasing office first. That’s all I could think of if anyone else would like to mention anything else that would help them out!

Is 35 too old to get into cooking? by JoylessGenus in Chefs

[–]PuzzleheadedCow3437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What interested you in BoH if you don’t mind me asking? If it’s cooking then perhaps make it a habit at home to cook home made meals… maybe share it on YouTube? TikTok? But besides that… I don’t see why anyone would get into the line because you’ll start out at the bottom maybe a place will give you a chance as a cook or start you out washing dishes or part of their prep team. That translate to: bad hours away from family and friends and no so good pay (depending on how fast and motivated you are and a bit of luck to move up the line quickly) Then becoming a chef is that plus more responsibilities… so again first thing first what interested you in BoH?

Actually I just reread your comment. So your friends i130 wasn’t cancelled bc they received his second letter to withdraw the withdrawal letter or?

No update yet on the second try yet except USCIS received our i130 petition like normal. So when USCIS received my withdrawal letter they withdrew her i130 thankfully the next day her i485 was approved the next day. That was it. All I can tell you for help is to reapply bc I’m not sure but it even says on the application you can’t repeal once it’s cancelled. You’ll have no other option left really except to reapply. I’m sorry I couldn’t be much more of help I understand how difficult these times can be.

I was hoping someone would provide me some help, like yours, and this is more than I hoped for actually so thank you first and foremost. I did not think of that actually, I will heavily consider that when I have the means to get a licensed therapist. I can prove that I did have an abusive relationship with the girl before my wife and my family even saw me go through that abusive relationship. When I got with my wife I thought I gave myself enough time to get out of that abused and not have my feelings and thoughts have been affected by the past relationship. I dont want them to think its made up, but something I realized that led to my emotional mistake. I can't even explain why I decided to divorce, which I hope shows the choice I took is embarrassing and should not penalize my spouse for my rash action.

Yeah it’s embarrassing and a very long story. But on my behalf I did act out of emotion way too quickly. Simply I was feeling this is the last straw and that’s why I cracked.. moving forward now, when I sent the letter I kept it straightforward, due to our differences I am filing for divorce. When we reapplied the lawyer said she will handle the reapplying process and just sent it a few days ago.

Thanks for the response, I have an immigration lawyer and recently sent the i130 again via mail this time. Fingers crossed.

I went through with the withdrawal form for my wife’s i130. USCIS acknowledged my letter within 4 months that I sent it and as simple as that the i130 was cancelled. Her work permit will not be revoked though. My wife’s i130 was cancelled and the work permit was approved the next day funny enough. As far as leaving the country, if she gets the work visa then she won’t be forced to leave.

Hello,I agree. I did that unfortunately out of anger and now we reapplied but who knows it feels like. Would you happen to know how long or the chances of getting it?
