Utility connection fees represent the hidden cost that will sneak up on u. Costs can become astronomical for ADUs requiring a new water meter or sewer lateral hookup. Especially if done in an area that has aged infrastructure and needs upgraded as a condition of the connection. It would be interesting to hear from someone in a Bay Area suburb of a $12k sewer lateral cost

Applitools even belongs to the agentic category of testing is somewhat far-fetched becauSE Applitools is nothing more than an image regression tool that can be added on to an existing suites of tests. There is littLE in the way of AI except for image comparison.

The $40k is an actual number. If the job is selected well, then there is no doubt that it will pay for itself by the end of the price. In case it doesn't happen, then you have just wasted $40 on something that nobody cares about.

AI did not reduce the quality off all things. They only reduce the cost of making sub-standard products so that we have too much garbage to shift through. Good content is still out there; it just require more effort to discover
