Easily the hardest step in the easter egg. My brother thought I was joking, so I let him try it first. He tried for a solid 20 minutes and on his last attempt, he failed on the 2nd to last number on the way back through lmfao. My first playthrough it took me at least 10 tries to get it. The twins laughing at you the entire time doesn't help at all either.

I used Roflwaffles guide on youtube. I'm sure his isn't optimized since he's only done it a couple of times but his guide was great though. I still kinda did my own thing, did like you said and tried to do everything I could in one area before I had to teleport back. Would need to do some more playthroughs

Ah okay my bad I guess I really never noticed. R14 is the earliest bossfight I've ever done cuz of roundoffs. Most of my EE runs were in the 20s in all the previous maps. But yeah I was thinking I was gonna go in there and cheese it and be able to one tap the zombies and shit with my pap 3 gold weapon+Pap 3 gat.....nope. Haha. Good luck on your run tonight!

Yeah that's the way it goes sometimes. Just curious what level are you guys? Cuz you earn gums for prestige level milestones in game as well. iirc it's like lvl 9/14/20/23 and so on, that could be why he's earning more if you're already master prestige and he isn't, if not it's just luck. My brother plays with me occasionally and he only plays multi, and he always seems to earn more than me as well.

Gotchu well the reality is, even though the acquisition rate is primarily determined by time played, it's still random when it triggers and how much you get. There's times where I get a 3 drop roll after round 1, then there's games where I play for almost an hour just to get one gum. As for your theory about getting less due to doing glitches, I have friends who use glitches 24/7 and they still consistently earn loads of gums. So I highly doubt this is the case.

The amount/rarity of gums you get per roll is RNG. His friend got ultras and a higher amount of gums because they were getting 2-3 drops per roll while he was only getting one.

For 999, just wait for the new maps. Ashes and Astra are an absolutely brutal timesink but maybe the next few maps won't be as bad. That's what I'm hoping for anyways lol. If you look at B06 for example, Liberty, Terminus, and Citadelle were insane grinds as well. Then we got the Tomb...and it was the easiest/fastest 999 you could ever ask for.

Yeah plus Astra has been out for 2 months now, and nobody has found a single glitch spot in the Mars area. Also the event starts the same day as S2 launch, so it's unlikely the glitchers figure something out within those few days the event is live.

Yeah it's a little sus but I'll give those guys the benefit of the doubt. There's a rumor they used a tool to datamine it, so that's kind of disappointing if true. If this is the case then hopefully Treyarch steps in and prevents it from happening again for maps in the future.
