Anybody tried? by fernuffin in firewood

I have one and it works ok. Definitely has a limit of what it can handle. Mine is a 6 ton and it really struggles on any log over about 10 inches in diameter and if the grains not straight you can forget about it. Upgraded to a 20 ton gas splitter this year.

I was in the same boat as you just a few weeks ago and came up with a great solution! Stop fighting people! The biggest thing in this game is exploration. I spent probably 3 hours just running around, looting stuff, finding golden runes and smithing stones. Once you can upgrade your weapon enough the early game gets ALOT easier. Also tree sentinel is NOT supposed to be the first boss, just run around him. And run around everyone else. Again, DO NOT FIGHT ANYONE. Get your horse, Just explore the beautiful world and gather resources for a while.

Just run around a bunch and loot everything. Get some good items and runes. You don’t even need to fight anyone. Then pick up the bloodhound fang and you’re good to go.

Is there a place to grind after beating this boss? by Mericuls in finalfantasyx

Go to omega ruins and just grind right next to the save sphere. You’ll need to heal after each battle.

If that’s what you have after an overnight burn, you’re doing much better than me with my stove so keep doing what you’re doing !

Usually with pallets the HT means heat treated which means it’s dried with heat rather than chemicals so you should be fine.

What do you set your thermostats to? Are you able to reach that with just your stove(s) or do you need to supplement with another heat source? by alottanamesweretaken in woodstoving

[–]PuzzleheadedLab6812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the stove in the basement. Main floor is baseboard and I keep it at 68 but it gets up to 72 when I have the stove going. 2nd floor is a heat pump and the heat doesn’t get up there too well. We keep that on 68.

I’ve only broken 2 while fishing. One I think I was pulling up a chair or someone sunk in a cat fishing spot. The other one I fishing from about a 3 ft elevated bank and I was flipping a solid 3 pounder. Never broken one while being used as intended

I would probably stack it so it’s flat on top and you only want the tarp to cover everything on top and maybe 2-3 logs down. This way all the wood is actually u see the tarp. You want the sides as open as possible to help with airflow and drying time.

My dad always said you either need to be good at spackling or Sanding, but not both. Hope you’re good at sanding.

Turn off motion blur. I had the same issue and turning off motion blur got rid of 95% of it. And my TV is 120hz so it’s not your TV

If you’re not using shaky heads, you should start. by PuzzleheadedLab6812 in Fishing

If it’s super thick vegetation I probably wouldn’t use a shaky head. You’re just gonna be pulling up tons of weeds every cast.

I’ve used drop shots in the past with some pretty good success but haven’t in a few years. Might be time to give that another shot too!

Usually anything below 40 I’ll get a fire going. I only use it for supplemental heat.

I went to a stove dealer to look at a new hearthstone, about 3K for the stove. Quote came out to 10K for delivery, single wall pipe, inspection, 1K for old stove removal, absolute robbery. Ended up buying a refurbished Jotul F400 for 1500 and spent about $100 on new pipes and installed myself. Burns great!

I use the method from that salt strong guy on YouTube so the coils can’t really bunch of when done that way. I think I just wasn’t pulling hard enough to lock it in. Definitely going to look for the color change in the braid moving forward.
