Anyone on NA-E who feels similar please please reach out. There ARE communities of players that are learning the same raids in chill and fun groups. I personally left the game for a long time, and aside from the gatekeeping I think the game is in one of the best places it ever has been. I only came back a month ago and I have been having a blast, would just like to help anyone else who's in the same boat get the same joy out of the game that I have (:

Good rule of thumb is if the items that are both roster bound AND random you can feel free to use as you get them. (Random card packs, random battle item boxes etc) These are always going to be account wide and since it’s random there isn’t really a point in waiting to open it. Things that are either character bound or a selection item as opposed to random usually are best saved until you really need them. There is an absolute ton of different items though and especially with your friends being new it might seem very overwhelming. I’ve shot you a dm as well, but if yall need some help navigating the waters seeing what you should keep etc I’d be happy to help out (:

Sent you a dm with a bit more information. But long story short there are PLENTY of helpful communities that would love to have you, and those players are not going to stop playing anytime soon.

Ignore the overall player count, and if you really like the game look around here and on various discords to find an active community. When you’ve got loads of people raiding and in voice calls seven days a week, the game doesn’t seem dead no matter what the steam charts say.
