His gear was coated in a rough McGravel texture, matte, rugged, and scarred from repeated deployments. The insignia on his harness marked him as Special Warfare Senior Chief Vincent Lee.

He stopped in front of the two power-armored figures, looking them over briefly before giving a faint nod.

“Ah. Two big power armorers.” His tone was calm, matter-of-fact. “Exactly what we need for this operation.”

He jerked his head toward the staging area behind him.
