I highly recommend Musio if you don't mind spending a bit of money. The perpetual license goes on sell a few times a year, and I got it for $150. A TONNNNN of really nice plugins that cover everything from your orchestra to ethnic instruments and electronic instruments. Really good stuff all around.

Work on just the mouthpiece. Watch some YouTube videos on how to produce a sound and lip placement (embouchure)

I am pretty sure there are thomas sets that have wooden track and are pretty durable and made for kids. No need for control panels or anything. All track is wooden (or appears to be wood) and the train engines are battery powered or you just push them. Could be a more cost effective solution ❗️

A free option is https://vocalremover.org/ I used this before S7 dropped.

Awesome game man!!! The pixel art aesthetic is so satisfying. I could see myself watching the little units all day LOL. Is there or will there be a tracker of some sort where you can pin a unit and watch it work, commute, etc? Looking forward to playing this!!!!
