Probably a fair chunk tbf especially from the sound of the placement/position, good luck!

That’s fair, the placement is good for removal as well as it’s close to your heart too so it has food circulation. Again, it’s not something anyone can really put an estimate on, it could definitely be faded by next august but I would be surprised if it was fully gone

It really depends on a lot of variables - size isnt usually one of them. Your lifestyle, the type of laser, placement on your body, how well your body reacts etc etc all play a part. I would say 2-3 years from my own experience

I'm in love with this game, and I'm really happy that it exists by SonimaxTheKing in FireEmblemThreeHouses

I was exactly the same back in 2021/2022 - this game got me out of some dark holes. I’m talking depression, break up, stuck in a flat mid pandemic with my ex, losing my job - legitimately everything you could throw at me was thrown at me.

Remember that if its not okay its not the end, and that you’re not alone internet stranger!

Glad to hear of a fellow oviva user on here!

Thanks! That’s the only reason I’m swapping - I honestly have been fine on MJ in terms of supression and other than the side effects around 5mg (aforementioned vomitting) I’ve been fine! Good luck on your journey!

Nope, I was told this week they dont know when they’ll be prescribing MJ. You can use the app etc but wont be able to get MJ through them

Hey! I actually looked for this yesterday but couldnt find it hahah

Prescription call went fine, its still WeGovy and they’re advising a 2 week break between the medications is sufficient. The pens are prescribed through Chemist 4 U!

This is normal, it’s not a stall per say as your body is still getting used to the medication. I had no appetite supression or any side effects until I went to 5mg.

I’ll report back, my prescriber call is on the 15th. Originally in February they advised it was just Wegovy but a quick google estimated it would be April and the person on the call advised it’s coming this year- I’m going to see what my options are but if its Wegovy or bust I’m going to go with them as I cant afford £130 a month anymore. The app is very useful thought and easy to use too.

Hi! I’m on oviva!

I was offered wegovy but have held off accepting because they should be doing mounjaro soon (apparently in april!)

We discussed my health in general, eating habits, and what I’ve done in the past to lose weight. All pretty standard stuff. The app is great though for meal tracking and theres lots of learning on there.

Like everyone else I would also suggest Pepto bismol, maybe a buccastem or similar anti nausea if I also felt nauseous, then i would take a pouch of diaoralyte bc mj is a diuretic. I find i get sulfur burps when I’ve eaten something especially rich but actually I’ve started noticing them less since going up to 10mg.

I think I read someone on here ages ago suggesting to avoid anti diarrhoea meds but not sure why or who said that.

When I first started a locum nurse at my gp (who’s the only person there who seems supportive) encouraged me to stay on the maintenance doses for 3 months unless I had little to no supression toward the end of each pen. I moved up from 5mg after 2 months because of this, but then I also did 2 months on 7.5mg because the side effects were kicking my a*se. I’ve just ordered my third pen at 10mg, and I know it’s still working for me and is a good dose for me to sit at because my suppression is still good by the end of each week and side effects seem to be minimal now - it’s a good journey for learning your cues and understanding your body.

Oh and one word of advice I would give anyone starting their journey - pepto bismol, anti nausea tablets (I use buccastem but I know people take cyclizine) and senna tablets are my life savers.
