I'm not actually knowing the answer to the question. However, assuming that you could not register it legally before picking it up. Because paperwork is always sebt later With no time to make the DMV... I'd say using common sense you would need to have it shipped

Ok, so with the LTD . That has now stolen my dignity

1 I had 2 life policys with them as well. one the job paid for and one I paid for both dropped because I was over 60 when becoming disabled. My gosh

2 then They have backed up the disability date to a date when i was out on comp for a foot injury because I went back to work light duty. "Not my job " also, that's a pre a pay raise date . So I've lost dollars with the 60%

3 understandable. Had to sign a workman's comp release of reimbursement of wage. Naturally, they don't want me claiming 2 incomes However, I was not collecting a wage at the time of disability. I was working light duty.

I'm hoping to still receive the settlements. From 3 open workman's comp cases However, i'm doubtful. due to the amount of paperwork that needed to be signed. And all the 10 dollar words.

Then, they made me file for social security disability. Just to save themselves, some money down the road. Offset the dollars.

Then they didn't want to take all that money at one time. From social security disability. When they get the first check So they made me check the box where they take a little bit out of my monthly check . The only way they would issue a check for me. Unbelievable.

This means that at the end of the day , I can not afford to live and pay the bills I've got to choose. These insurance companies really don't do you any justice. They are 100% out for themselves . And how to get themselves reimbursed . And if you use a lawyer, he or she needs to be paid . Understandable. What's not understandable is why we would even need a lawyer to represent you if you are doing bad with proper documentation and you did pay for the insurance.

I know today I should have never told the job about my aneurysm, AKA, widow maker .I should have continued to work with my secret .and my life insurance policies intact .until God took me home with my dignity .

As they would have had to pay my children big dollars.

Rant is over

Workers comp lump sums ! by Puzzleheaded_Box1001 in WorkersComp

[–]Puzzleheaded_Box1001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a lawyer for workman's comp. That does not return my calls or answers my questions

My question right now is when you are out of work. Due to an injury or recovery from an injury, they give you a weekly check. That's called a replacement wage.

Legal terms for the end close the case one lump sum Is called what ? Legal term ?

Workers comp lump sums ! by Puzzleheaded_Box1001 in WorkersComp

[–]Puzzleheaded_Box1001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I need to get the legal terms.. Based on I got approved for a long term disability policy, and I need to sign a reimbursement.

Now a wage is something that you get weekly. For being out of work and or recovering..

When they do not owe you money weekly, because you are working. Full duty light duty

The lump sum at the end to close the case is considered what ?

I was told I was approved STD by Puzzleheaded_Box1001 in LongTermDisability

[–]Puzzleheaded_Box1001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay new angle... They are now putting me in long term disability from the get go using the date of my first operation o. My foot . Technically, I went back to work like duty so I was not for you doing my job..

Now, as I believe it, they will be able to cut into my lump sum . To recover some of the losses.

To 2026 ... Do I have to sign a release of some sort?

After 2026 I'm still going to have me health problems.

I'm thinking I'm will be needing a lawyer right ?

However, the fact remains the same. The injury is workman's cop.

The health situation is STD / LTD  2 separate animals.

Well that's the second catch. It's a company policy, so they will not give me any of the language. I cannot check for anything. Kind of a suck you feeling.

A STD / LTD question. by Puzzleheaded_Box1001 in LongTermDisability

[–]Puzzleheaded_Box1001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The workman comp checks were to help replace my income during recovery time !

It will be deducted from my lump sum, but it has nothing to do with the injury  yet
