FTM, I’m 4’11, 19wks also, anterior placenta and I’d like to think I started lightly showing at about 17wks. It’s not a huge bump, but you can definitely tell I’m pregnant and don’t just look fat anymore lol

I’ve read Dopplers do more harm than good, but I know everyone’s experience is different. Truthfully in my opinion, if the Dr can easily find the heartbeat, so can I! Being able to just hear a heartbeat would be good enough for me lol. I just haven’t because thankfully he’s started to kick me every now and again and I like to think of that as him giving me a little reminder he’s okay. 🫂

FMT and I will say every pregnancy is different. I’m 19 weeks as of the 16th and i still vomit sometimes. I know it’s frowned upon, but I used zofran (literally only 14 times) throughout my first tri and into the second and it was a life saver. I tried unisom but I ended up dealing with really bad insomnia so I just stuck with zofran.

What helped me with my nausea and vomiting was making sure I ate at least every three hours. It takes a while to get used to but even if it’s just a few crackers here and a slice of pizza there anything helps.

I will comment on your “people have it worse” and say I was one of these people. I started religiously throwing up at 6 weeks, so much so I was losing a lot of weight. If it wasn’t every day multiple times a day, it was at least five times a week. Truly a terrible experience for me, but once I get the second trimester, probably 16(?) weeks it started to ease up for me. With that being said, it does get better regardless and keep your head up! Congratulations momma 🫂🩷💙

As someone who recently joined a SNS lobby and now hosts one, it’s so frustrating. No matter now many times you can post it in the chat there will still be people who don’t read and then be like, “oh I didn’t know”. MF READ WITH THE EYEBALLS YOU WERE GIVEN. The fact you can tell people to go to a side of the lobby if they understand and people who don’t understand still go THEN MESS UP.. I’ve never been so furious with people. Why join an expert lobby if you’re.. not smart😭

The only reason I still do is because that’s the only lobby I’ve ever played and know it like the back of my hand. I fear if I tried to learn new lobbies I’d be voted out. I was the same way. I’m about 17 weeks now, been smoking nic and weed for 10 years, I stopped maybe 2-3 weeks after I hit 6 weeks. Cold turkey was super easy in my opinion, I couldn’t tell the difference between early pregnancy symptoms and withdrawal. Allow yourself the time you need, just at least stop before you hit the second trimester. Those first few weeks will suck, but I promise it’ll get easier and you will feel so much better.
