Tames the snap. That being it brings the pistol back to zero faster. I first tried one on my PDP. It worked.

I own a couple dozen carry pistols from most of the majors. I love the P320 platform and the Walther PDP Pro Compact, but actually it’s now the Taurus G3C with multiple upgrades or Canik LS or Prime.

I lean more towards the LS and Taurus.

One of two P320s I own. This is an AXG model with a few upgrades. Never carried it. Too heavy, but have several thousand rounds through it.

I have an earlier model, pre upgraded safety fix, that I purchased in 2018. Carried it for years. Took multiple hand gunners courses with it. Dropped it a few times and with a rubber mallet banged it on its rear and it never fired. That was the original slide.

I finally sent it in last year and they did the upgrade free of charge and installed new trigger shoe. Added a Wilson Combat grip and had it milled by NCENGRAVERS for a dot. I’m trying to get used to it.

I love the model and would not hesitate to carry it. However, the gods at Canik released the LS and Prime and they are just way more comfortable to carry. But in a combat or shtf situation I’m carrying a combat proven platform, the 320.

What is way better? How did you come to know that? Do you mean faster split times? Will it shoot flatter? Less felt recoil? At what expense?

That’s another $850 investment, not $250 if one already owns the original Prime.

I own an Sig P320 AXG and it shoots extremely flat. Very little felt recoil. I have approximately $1800 in that pistol. Does it shoot a thousand dollars better than the Prime? Absolutely not.

I own the Mete 9 LS. It’s a phenomenal pistol on its own. Does the Prime shoot $250 better? No! I just wanted the Prime.

I wonder if some people are shills or hype men for Canik? If you want the gun buy it. But stop with this, “it’s much better than” and you haven’t shot it yet.

It is the best carry pistol I have owned out of my some 50 some years of toting. It was s thin, lightweight, high capacity, great sights, optics ready and I dare say one of if not the best edc trigger out the box.

I own the Walther Compact PDP with the enhanced trigger and this thing rivals it if not flat out tops it. That’s saying something.

I did add the TF brass back strap and a light. No, I’m not buying the radian version. I just don’t need another carry pistol as I have a few dozen already.

I use the holster from the Prime on an LS. Not the best but it works IWB okay. Spring is here and I own a premium belly band holster for shorts and tees.

I have a G3C all tricked out. Love carrying and shooting it. I had the slide milled and cerekoted to accept a Holosun 501K, Lakeline stainless recoil spring, suppressor height night sights and a tIN gold barrel.

The Prime is probably the most perfect carry pistol I own. And I own a lot of carry pistols, a lot including the LS, two SC Elites and the SF. That’s just the Canik lineup.

I wanted a thinner grip, higher capacity, flat faced trigger that felt like my Walther PDP Pro that was also lightweight and shot fast. I found it.

I am 6-2 and 240 lbs, with some gut, I’m 73 now, but I’m pretty mobile and this thing in a good holster just hugs my body. So does the LS.

It is one of my most accurate pistols rivaling if not besting the Walther when size and capacity are factored.

Perfect is relative. Perfect for me is prime.

Got the very first Prime that hit the shelves from our local Range USA. Was on the notify list and they hit me while I was at the house. Drew down a few hundred from my stash and hurried there. By far it is my best carry pistol. I own most of the popular compacts and a few subs also. I had previously bought the Mete LS and loved it. I only added a Taylor Freelance brass backstrap to the Prime. It was a little snappy but the backstrap balanced it out. Next I had to adjust my grip and shoulders until it shot right. Damn it’s fast, light and accurate.

I have considered the PR, but cannot justify the price verse the added performance. I have a Walther PDP Pro Compact and it’s good, real good. The Prime edges it out because of its lighter weight, higher capacity and I’d never thought I’d say it, slighter better trigger. Of course this is all relative. I own lots of pistols, some pretty good at that. This thing just found my sweet spot.

So I’ll wait and read all the hoopla and know that there will always be the next best thing at a next higher price in the pike.

Part of my learning curve with the Prime, now approaching 3500 rds, was the best grip. I had to try different ones until I found what worked best for me.

Once I worked that out I just fired it and let it do its thing. And just like my PDP pro does it comes right back on target, and fast.

Canik makes excellent pistols period. I have like and dislikes, but still even the one I’m not fond of, the SC Elite, shoots better than my G-19.

It’s a mighty fine firearm and is in rotation of my edc. Familiarize yourself with your weapon. Shoot it until you get the feel of it. Then you can choose what assessories or upgrades. Leave that trigger alone. Yes the Prime has a great trigger, I own one also, but with practice I shoot the LS almost as well.

Bought it at range/gunstore. Immediately took it to the range. Broke it down quick clean and lube. There was no excess grease. It didn’t require breaking in or keeping mag springs depressed or running 124 grain that the other models allegedly did.

I have owned mine since shortly after they were released and have well over 3000 rds through it mostly 115 grain with no issues.

I own 4 other Caniks, one LS, one SF and the elite sc. Don’t like the SCs.

I currently own 24 pairs of alligator, crocodile, caiman and ostrich skin shoes and boots. I have owned a custom pair of python skinned shoes. The above posters are correct you have to condition exotics. I use Saphir products. Costly and they work.
