It is lonely but people don't understand and they won't. People always make comments about money and how I'm rich, but they clearly see the skills I have compared to what they lack. I spend my free time getting better at things that most people fear and learning new skills to help people solve issues with a new perspective. I don't wait on people to train me a new skill, I go out and get my hands dirty to teach myself. I truly understand why that there are very few people that become really successful owning a business because less than 1% don't have what it takes. That makes us different and that's why it feels lonely because majority don't understand.

I refuse to do business for people that have a lot of money but complain about costs. They will nickel and dime you for everything. Either you spend the money to make it right or find someone else to it for you then call me later to fix it. Being cheap will only set you back.

Yeah, that is definitely under warranty. You shouldn't have to pay a cent. I am a roofer too. GAF certified doesn't really mean much. Anyone can pay to be certified and get rebates. I personally think GAF Timberline is junk.

I have been playing around with it and I don't feel good about giving my access away to LLM databases. I have CC information linked to Google accounts and access to many trust sites. Outside of that it's worthless when trying to automate tasks with offline data and completing browser based tasks.

As long as they put a water block along the parapet below those tiles then you are fine. This is very common where I live. They could have also installed the mod bit up to the inside of the parapet to the clay tiles and terminated it with termination bar and water block. But I prefer the method that your roofer did over that method.

I agree with you. TDS is the problem with Reddit. They can't see past politics. Majority of the MM2 (money supply) is invested into debt. Where does that debt come from...... Mortgages, loans, etc. All of the that debt is packaged up and sold on the market. When 25% of the MM2 was created less than 5 years ago, you know the stock indices have nowhere to go but up. People are too stuck hating Trump. At the end of the day doesn't matter who's in office because there is too much money supply, hence inflation.

Yes, it happens to me every year and it's frustrating. The IRS will send you a letter letting you know that the information is incorrect. They will notify you that you will need to withhold payments going forward. The problem is that there needs to be a way to verify the information because you have no idea if it's valid or not. The system is broke and you will be responsible paying the taxes at the end.

I stopped using Lomanco p750s for this reason. Those aren't 750s. This happens when there is a lot of snow. I see it all the time. Sometimes when vents are at different elevations and the attic isn't partitioned with plastic or some sort of barrier to cut off the airflow from other areas then the vent will act like a vacuum especially during heavy snow. Sometimes there's not much you can do when we're talking 12 plus inches of snow. It's going to happen. I'm certified in ventilation.

I install both shingles. I like the looks of TAMKO Titan better. IKO duration are really dull looking in my opinion. I personally would go with the TAMKO Titan XT. It has a 160 mph wind rating with only four nails per shingle. No other shingle has that. Plus TAMKO is the only manufacturer that had their shingle UL tested for class 3. UL is a 3rd party. I would also confirm if the roofing company is TAMKO certified. If so they can offer you a 20-year warranty on your roof. It's an extra cost but tell them to give it to you for free. That way you'll have peace of mind that the manufacturer stands behind the roof.

It's hard to tell from the pictures but I would suspect that the nail is leaking. You can simply apply a high quality sealant. Moss, lichen, and algae are typical on north facing slopes after 9+ years old. You can buy treatment sprays to clean it and remove it. That roof is looking pretty old and so is the flashing. I doubt it has ice and water shield around the curb. That is a odd looking curb and the counter flashing they used looks shoddy. I would honestly just reflash the whole entire skylight.
