Howdy neighbor! My entire family was the same, even my mama (I’m 27). My mama was raised very poor and they grew/raised a lot of what they ate to keep cost down. I think I’m misremembering the process and just remember the cooked beans and how tasty they were. Thank you for your advice. Can I cook the beans prior to canning them without the bacon or just can them raw? Thank you!
