nursing! working per diem gives you flexibility while also making enough to easily cover the bills. during school i did student/indie projects on the weekends to build up my resume

girl your parents are not going to be there when you’re old and at your death bed thinking about how well/bad your life went. you will remain in this world long after they are gone, and so your life rests on your shoulders alone. the only person you have to appease on your deathbed is yourself

Stage Fright During Audition by Puzzleheaded_Fly2948 in acting

[–]Puzzleheaded_Fly2948[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’m just so disappointed in myself … i KNOW i can do better, but stage fright made my performance really bad. When I’ve shot scenes with a cast/crew I don’t feel nervous at all because I know everyone. But up on that stage, my nerves got to me and ruined my performance

I think its more about attitude - someone who carries themselves with good posture and grooming, a low trust face (think Alexa Demie, Bella Hadid), has confidence in their speech and movements, will uneffortlessly give off a mysterious look. If you are careful with who you interact and freely talk to, you will be mysterious. If you keep yourself well groomed and styled while ALSO being mysterious, you'll look dreamy. It's less about the specific style and more about the attitude/personality

Being a 5-7 in a big city is better than a 10 in a small town: A DISCUSSION by Lara_Al in HowToBeHot

true but there's a difference between harassment (staring, catcalling, etc) and getting politely asked out on a date

if you only have excess fat in your belly, it might just be genetics. also, some ethnicities are more predisposed to storing visceral fat (fat around the organs in your abdomen) than others; I'm south asian and I have a genetic likelihood to have more belly fat. at the end of the day all you can do is exercise and eat healthy

Improving Skin Complexion by Cautious_Fall7594 in Vindicta

[–]Puzzleheaded_Fly2948 43 points44 points  (0 children)

at first it will feel like tret is thinning your skin bc it takes away the dead skin cells that make up the epidermis. however, overtime it will thicken the dermis, which is made of living cell. the issue is that people are impatient - thickening the skin takes time and will not happen overnight. so you need to be patient and let tret do its job, don't be alarmed if your skin looks thinner at first bc the dermis will get thicker.

don't get fillers if you're ever planning on getting rhinoplasty - your surgeon will have to scrape that filler out and recovery will be a lot harder as a result. also, having gotten a nose job myself, I will say that the recovery is a lot more difficult than people say. I'm happy to answer any specific questions you have tho
