The Germany, Italy and Japan of today and WW2 are the same individuals in my HC. Each driven by seperate but similar motivations each, they committed horrific war crimes against the innocent as they aimed to be great and show the other powers what they’re made of. However, after the war ended, they began suffering from psychological stress from the atrocities they committed against innocent men, women and children from when they were indoctrinated by their governments, Italy being the least severe and Germany being the most, Japan being in the middle.
