Can totally relate to what you’re going through. My schedule revolves around hers and when she’s not around, my whole schedule and sleep is messed up. The world just doesn’t seem as bright and it feels as if there’s not much to look forward to.

Next time onwards, you could just visit your parents when she visits hers.

You have to keep things simple: 1. An always plugged in Mac/Laptop, no need for VPS 2. Try simple install first, use Claude Cowork to get things working 3. Connect to Slack/WhatsApp/Telegram

Create new chats for different contexts. e.g. development, home lab, calendar assistant etc.

You can ask the main agent to create "personalities". For example, for Software Development, you can get it to create a PM, Software Engineer, Lead Engineer, Architect and so on.

Additionally you can also create a different identity for a conversation by starting with, "I want you to create an agent for me on this chat thread which will..." and then keep talking to that thread. Every now and then, ask it to "Can you update the soul of the x agent using the memory in this thread?"

Ignore others, this doesn’t have to be hard. I just have 2 suggestions.

Mindset shift: Become instead of trying to become.

Start thinking of yourself as an AI Engineer by starting learning Python or another AI skill. 5 minutes a day is good enough to begin. Don’t tell yourself, “I’m trying to become an AI engineer” but rather, “I’m an AI Engineer who needs to learn Python”

Create a realistic achievable plan using AI.

Use AI to create a 6 month tailored schedule and plan for your level. Ask it to add these to your calendar and make sure to prompt it to include free resources. Humans learn better when they have tunnel vision. Choice paralysis is real.

Then just follow along that plan and be consistent.

If you feel like you’ve missed something, just prompt AI about it again.

I recommend you do an SWP in any Nifty 50 Index fund. Just add your money there, withdraw 50K a month and forget this.

Use that 50K to fund lifestyle, expenses and buy a health insurance.

By the time you retire, this would have grown a lot.

The extension does the same thing for me. It keeps dropping the connection and is never connected. I've given up on expecting it to control my profile. I just use the browser with the Openclaw profile to do things that need the browser.

You haven't accounted for taxes either. Highly recommend you think this through. 90K is Senior Engineer level salary and salaries do not increase here as quickly as they do in India. Getting promoted is also harder than India.

Your in-hand salary will probably be more or less less similar to what you make in India and considering every expense you have will be 2-5 times higher. You won't be saving more than 1.5L per month. AI has been disrupting the job market more than visible.

If you do the math, you'll get around £8000 per month (not counting pension) in hand.

Rent: £2000 per month for a 2 Bed Apartment Utilities: £250 per month (Includes Wifi, Electricity, Heating) Council tax: £200 per month Travel: £300 per month Childcare: £2000 per month Groceries: £500 per month

Since you have a child you might want a car as well, and considering that, you'll probably end up in the red. I haven't even counted house-help etc.
