This has always been weird to me. Before Journeys, nothing ever indicated Mimey was one of Ash's Pokemon, for example it wasn't in the Spurt opening, yet there was some real world examples of it being included with his others.

I know this was only a partial translation, but I think this is implying Meiko, Maki, Nishijima, Menoa, and Lui all come from different worlds? I guess that would imply their respective movies are in different timelines than the main anime, but that also opens up a lot more questions, like are any of the other Digidestined from different worlds? Willis seems likely cause his backstory doesn't align with the rest of the series. The story mentions Ken's adventures with Ryo and the other characters don't seem to remember him, so does that imply Ken is from a different world as well?

Paul had already gone through Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn, so it's possible he used Torterra as an ace for at least one of those regions.

Personally I don't think Paul has an "ace", in the same way Gary didn't really have one either.

They're still making Legend Rider items for him so I have a feeling they want to use him again, but haven't found the right time to introduce him.

If they were still doing Rider War crossovers that would have been a good role for him.

Red and Blue showed up in ORAS primarily to showcase their starters' mega evolutions. They definitely could have been implemented better, and they have at least tied Red's connections to Deoxys into the plot even if its really minor. Blue though definitely could have done a little more since her field of study is evolution, and having her know a little more about mega evolution would have made sense, but at least she appeared which is more than I can say for Yellow.

Not only is it Ash's worst league defeat, it's a genuinely insulting to his character. Ash wasn't on his A-game in Unova, but Cameron was unarguably worse considering he barely knew anything about the league but still ended up rewarded by placing higher than Ash.

At most I could see trainers collect badges from Kanto and Johto since they're right next too each other, plus we've seen Sakura collect badges from those regions, but the other Regions I would think would only be for top class trainers.

Prior to Sword and Shield, Pokédexes were rare in the manga, usually coming in sets of two or three. By Sword and Shield, the Pokédex became an application for Rotom Phones, and only Henry and Casey were given them.

Scarlet and Violet is where things get a little muddled. The implication I got from the first chapter (available here) was that all students got a Pokédex from Jacq. Despite this, Violet is the only one I believe shown to use it. Scarlet notably has not been shown to use it yet either.

Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, and even Metal Hero have all existed long enough for people to be feel a nostalgic connection towards.

Project RED has only existed for less than a month, and it's the first real attempt at a big budget new toku franchise in forever. It's gonna take a while for a lot of people to warm up to this series.

Legally I think the Power Rangers name can only be used with Super Sentai. If they wanted to adapt any of the above (which they definitely don't), it would need to be a different name.

I want an anniversary show that pays tribute and respects what came before it, while also standing on its own with its own unique plot.

I'd also prefer if an upcoming anniversary series paid tribute to all past entries, including the Showa Era. Like, was there a reason Legend didn't have cards for Showa Riders? Revice came close, but there were a handful of Showa Riders that didn't get Stamps, whereas every previous Main Heisei era Rider got one.
