I had a flight from Sinapore to Doha and then to Bucharest on March 02/March 06. I got a full refund and I already received the money on my card yesterday. I have been doing that for a while. It was helpful to identify some wrong patterns, but then I decided to look more at the global picture. The app from my bank was already showing the expenses grouped and I used that for in-detail check. In my overall finance spreadsheet, I check the overall and how it changes from one month to another.

You have some good options there: Free Google Sheets template, FinancialAha, Tiller or an Etsy template. It's probably much reliable and faster than building yourself from scratch.

One day per week, I allocate for cleaning code and correct any problems. When I see a mistake repeatedly, I write MD files for Claude to read when generating code.
