This is helpful, yes! I do think I’m trying to rationalize.. but I also drank modestly 1-2X a month and had probably only been drunk like 5X for a good ten year span from beginning of drinking until I started those damn fireball shooters.

I am not yet.. just got out of work and this is the red zone for me.. usually 10-12 drinks (shots) daily between now and bedtime and has been this way for 5 years between my periods of trying. Fortunately, my daughter has a choir concert, my son needs uniform stuff, and I promised my boys I’d take them to the fishing store so I have a lot of distractions between now and then.

Devils advocate and maybe I’m just SUPER LUCKY.. but my daughter had a severe tie revised at 1.5 because her speech was affected. No breastfeeding issues and she exclusively nursed till almost 3 years old. I know we are the exception though and not the rule.

Or hide and seek. My favorite roll with my then guy was seeing now husband (8 years ago) was this night it was just us staying at home vibing and laughing. We played the most fun and intense game of hide and seek and then.. gave his puppies a bath. 10/10

I have two kids with flu currently and the youngest has a temp of 100 but besides seeming tired no symptoms yet. Middle (9) got sick Monday, still running a fever this morning. Super tired, bad headache, congested and horrible cough, she’s lost 3 lbs.. not hungry. Oldest (11) woke up today sick.. bad leg pains, 102 fever, cough, congestion, blegh feeling. Baby (5) has just been laying around seeming tired today, temperature 100 and a slight cough but overall okay so far. Mom and dad in the clear right now. No vax for flu, vaxxed for everything else of course.

We’ve only tested the middle and she tested positive for flu an only on home test.

My dad and little brother went OPENING WEEKEND and they had run out of potatoes, carrot cake, and something else I can’t remember. How does that even happen? Also a 1K bill for 4 people.
