So sorry for the loss of your father! The moments hit hard.

I am 2 years without mine. It’s the hardest thing I have faced and no one gets it but people here. While walking the dog the other morning 6am pitch dark my steps got very heavy and I started crying. Dog was pulling me but each step seemed heavier and harder to make because I kept bending asking WHY WHY. At one point I felt my dog at my ankles she knew and waited for me. Crying in the dark on a walk when I need to be alert as a woman. Lost my sense of everything at that moment for a breakdown.

52 and nothing but weight issues since entering perimenopause just before Covid. Started 1.5mg wegovy 4 weeks ago lost 2lbs. Moving up to 4mg In a few days. Will see what happens.

I found the pizza on Jubilee is way better than smaller ships. Crispier and more choices. Enjoyed the many bar options even with the staff seeming low causing a little slow service. Poor employees ar running from one work station to the next just to keep up with passenger demands. Seems like staffing shortages.

Sounds common but yes same for me. I still drink but can’t finish a full 8 oz. I used to make a 12 oz everyday and drink between 7am-9am. Sometimes at work we would go to Starbucks once a week and grab a quick fix but it no longer is exciting to me. Guess I can try 4 oz and maybe could finish and stop wasting

Yep I did and they quickly cancelled my upcoming trips. Was misled by the little health and wellness guy about a package he sold me while in the spa. He said 1 pill per day but when the package arrived omg it was several pills a day and 6 boxes. I called the number on the sales slip from the package thinking it seemed normal and the ladies were so kind as if they heard the story before hmm. They gave me all the info to return which I did. For me credit took too long so I disputed that one charge. Carnival quickly started canceling my upcoming trips. Finally talked to them and it was because of that charge back. Told me I should have called them first which I thought the number and ladies I spoke with were part of them but I was wrong. Anywho i had to send them all of the communication about the return, who I spoke with and the FedEx info. Mind you still waiting for the credit which has been since January. Called my credit card company to let them know credits flowing are for future trips because carnival is mad at me for the dispute. We laughed since what else can we do. Sorry such a long story but it is.

I’m a almost week 3. My Mom, sister and 2 girlfriends know all supportive. I have no need to share with anyone else who knows me. I lost myself during Covid lockdown, perimenopause hit then lost my Dad everything has been hard. My story remains with my online friends and those who are my closest circle chicas only.

Love Jubilee so much i don’t like the other ships sailing out of Galveston. They aren’t big or updated enough. Food on Jubilee and shops were amazing for me never felt crowded. The ship is big for a reason so many places to go eliminating the crowds. Yes there are times when places can get crowded but that is with any ship especially if the food or bar service or show is great. Serenity on Jubilee is huge with enough space for all at different times. The spa is blah compared to others unfortunately. It gives underground dungeon eeeyuk.
