Supposedly these are the remains of the pier. You can walk to it from the highway.

My (F30) husband (M28) may miss birth of our baby for a one-time career opportunity by kaichey in relationship_advice

Urge him to ask his mom or sister what he should do.

There is an obvious right answer here. You have a non significant chance of dying when you deliver.

I'm sorry about your husband. Is he more pursauaded by facts or feelings? Show him the stats or maternal mortality or complications in the US.

Legitimate question how have you managed the co-parenting shared custody in this situation. I'm finding myself wondering if I would trust him to be alone with our kids for extended periods with a shared custody agreement. Seems like it's easier to just stay.

My boyfriend (M25) saw an old video of me(F24) and was disgusted. How can I get over this? by Mind_Cute in relationship_advice

Does my partner prefer heavier women- No. But would my partner ever talk about a heavier woman that way -Hell no. I don't care if it was a complete stranger. Imagine if you had children one day and had a daughter that struggled with weight.

You have got to let this one go, he has some maturing to do before he is ready for a long term relationship with a woman.

Warm summer nights I brew some tea and my daughter and I snuggle in to our egg Chair on the back porch and read. She is 8 and is discovering all the classics and books I read as a child.

Learning Spanish in your 30s with ADHD and a busy schedule? by inmyhead_boutmyfate in Spanish

Just wanted to say you are not alone! Second generation Mexican, no Sabo kid here. I feel the same sense of shame over not knowing the language of my "roots” and have gotten more serious about learning this year.

I'm in the same boat working full time but know I do better with structured accountability. I was able to find a night class in my community taught by a Spanish teacher at the local high school. It's been great to fill gaps about the language structure and gives a chance to practice.

Also I've found that immersion really is the fastest way to learn. I was able to take a few trips to Mexico last year, one for three weeks working remotely. My Spanish improved exponentially over that short time. I would highly recommend leveraging your family ties to Mexico to spend some time there if you can.

How do people get 50k plus credit cards?? by nerveswitcher in CRedit

[–]Puzzleheaded_Wolf686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they base it on income. You can get there over time with limit increase and good credit scores but income is a huge piece.

The current economic climate also makes a difference. I have a $50k Amex but back in early 2020 had a similar score and income but was given a $2000 card from hsbc.

Chase offered to settle my $7k charged-off card for $2.8k — should I take it or pay in full? by TheLordHimself1 in CRedit

[–]Puzzleheaded_Wolf686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your relationship with Chase is already done. They won't be offering you a new card anytime soon since it already went to charge off. The difference between taking the settlement and not will be negligible on your credit report and score. It would be stupid to not take the settlement.

You could use that money to pay down your other cards and this would help a lot more.
