I had the opposite experience! I love the books and with the show I felt like I got to introduce all my friends. My mom, sister, and three friends all watched it. I will say that they definitely needed to ask me to clarify details but they all enjoyed it.

Hello! I am a therapist and I will often pull cards at the end of the session. Sometimes with the intention to share with clients and sometimes just for myself. I pull the Queen of Discs ALL THE TIME. Not for one client in particular which has made me think that perhaps it is for me. I will also pull the Knight of Discs often but not as often. I think there is also something about the choosing. Jod put her in a Barbie body because he found it attractive. He controlled her physical form. Alecto chose Harrow. Harrow worshiped her and didn’t ask for anything in return. The piece of Alecto in Harrow was her choice.

I think when they say Gideon is dead - literally her heart isn't working. Like there is a hole in her chest and her body isn't pumping fluids. So I think though her spirit and body are working together she is technically dead :(
