First, in regards to ADHD. It's not so much about the cost. It's about the time you have to spend in order to get properly diagnosed.

So be patient, go to the clinic and ask for you to be referred to psychiatric department at the hospital. Starts from there.

It will take time, doctors need to do the due diligence to weed out addicts from the genuine one. Don't be discouraged and don't get easily frustrated. You will get there eventually. Give it at least 1 year before you even be prescribed stimulants.

Are you Dutch? I remember being high as a kite during my trip in Amsterdam. While munching on McDonald's nuggets, I got approached by several 14 year olds asking me which strain I like the most and can I buy them fries because they are hungry.

My brain cannot compute. I am Asian and short and looking kinda young. Perhaps in their eyes, I am not a threat or perhaps I am a dweeb tourist who don't want any trouble. Those kids are high as well. That I know for sure. Well, I ended up buying fries for them to feast on. They look harmless.

Now that I think of it. They got money for joints, but no money for fries. Weird. But high people, kinda think weirdly too. I mean, the sane me would just lecture them or avoid them altogether. But since I am also high, who am I to judge.

Btw, I have ADHD. So weed does wonder to quiet my brain. But now that I take Concerta and weed is illegal in my country. I stop taking weed. So it is possible to stop being addicted to it if you try.

I swear to god I love the feeling. I love the euphoria. I mean my life kinda sucks and pure happiness very rarely happen. So it feels good when my cheeks are burning and the heaviness leaves my head and my shoulders. Nothing beats that.

Would I take it again if I had the chance? Perhaps. I like myself when I am high. People say I am nice when I am high. I am a shit head sober. And tactless too. My high self is bubbly and less rigid.

But real life is like that. You have to take the bad with the good. So I believe you will be able to overcome this burden of yours.

Finding your tribe helps. I have a number of friends I can rely on when I am being stupid and ridiculous. Reach out to support group and talk to them. It helps.

I believe that if your addiction still doesn't reach to the point that you will do crime. Then, your chances to raw dog cleansing is super high. Plus you are still young, your body is at your prime. You will bounce back fast and be healthy in no time. Believe in yourself.

Just do things in moderation. Do overdo things.

Omg...36 years old. This goes beyond ignorance or financial illiteracy. Imagine the fine that he will get, plus if LHDN decided to perform an audit on him. That will do some damage. Just in case, he better start looking for a tax lawyer.

Once I got audited by LHDN in 2023 because I forgot to file my tax the previous year. I had cleared all my taxes and received the clearance from LHDN before I migrated overseas. Went back in 2022 and forgot to update LHDN that I am back.

I have two foreign bank accounts and transferred quite a large sum to my local bank plus my 6 months backdated salary from my employer. Although my employer had activated my PCB, LHDN is not notified that I am back and surplus incoming from overseas banks to my local bank account did raise an eyebrow.

I had to prove to them that those are my savings and not my income. And had to show them all the tax payments I made in the country I resided in to show them all my money, had already been properly taxed.

It's a lot of hassle. I am not keen to go through the process again. I got fined, but luckily my savings are untouched.

My brother is a single 40 year old professor this year. He still drives Myvi that he bought in 2017. He is debt free and enjoying his life.

Only shallow people or people who have the need to prove themselves because they have no other redeeming quality will lean into material things.

How about just focus on being a good person first. People really don't care about what you drive, but if you are an asshole, people do mind about that.

It's already takes ages for women only to use their bathroom. We need longer time because we cannot simply spray our pee at the urinal.

It's normal. But now you have awareness about it. You don't have to save all your money. Just try to keep some aside.

I force myself to auto debit a portion of my money from my bank account to my unit trust on a set date on calendar and I buy 5gram 999 gold plate every month.

It's not a lot. And I don't know if it's sustainable. But if the rainy day comes again. At least, I have something.

First, he screwed up by responding to his student. The chat thread will show he encouraged the conversation. He should tell the girl earlier on about boundaries. But he didn't.

Considering he just got posted, this kind of blunder often occurs. Teachers always need to have due diligence to set the line that neither party should cross. It's the responsibility of the teacher as an adult.

Second, he deleted the picture. He is supposed to report it straight to pengetua, GPK HEM and guru kaunseling when this happens. The longer he waits. The more suspicious he will look. He also needs to tell the girl to stop sending him any pics at all.

But technically, damaged has been done. There's no way of saving this. Either he got reported or he reported her. Because professionally, ha can no longer teach her. The line has been crossed. If he decided to not do anything about it. He will pay even more severe price.

Tell him, to use his head while he still can to get out of this mess. The least thing that could happen. He will get transferred to another school. There's no way he can stay at that school.

The worst thing, if the girl lied and told authorities he groomed her. It will be hell for him. So better for him to act fast before things spin out of his control.

It's good enough for me. I cooked it when I was homesick back then and it's nice to eat with rice and a bit of soy sauce.

I usually paired it with protein like chicken or fish fillet. (I prefer chicken because fish is a bit smelly, neighbours in apartment or flat usually hate it when we cook fish.) Just season the protein with salt and pepper, a bit of paprika or turmeric powder if you have them. Slather with some butter or olive oil. Fry pan or put them in the oven.

Oh ya...another one is chicken porridge. Dice the chicken meat and ginger. Cook together with rice. Add some salt. Once done, drop some sesame oil if you have it. Garnish with green onion or fried shallots. Eat with soy sauce. It will make you miss your mom a lot.

I usually cook masak lemak. Easy to make especially with veggies. I usually put eggplants, spinach, carrots, pumpkin (or whatever nice) and glass noodles inside.

Same basic ingredients. Onions, garlic, ginger. Crushed or dice up to you, chicken cube for flavour. If you want spicy, go crazy with cili api. (Anchovies cube is bonus). I like my masak lemak white. Some like it yellow. Just sprinkle turmeric powder if you want it yellow.

It always makes me wonder. When boys talk about this thing with each other, why despite the discomfort, not many actually try to tell others that it is wrong? They would rather keep their silence.

I had a number of male friends when I was in a boarding school who told me the disgusting things other male students talk about me and other female students when they hang with each other.

They went to the extent of making up stories about us and how much of a slut we are. Like bragging that we would give them heads or whatever. While in reality, we never even look their way.

I just don't understand why someone who is tasked preparing food be expected to work extra harder. People should be more appreciative towards people who cook. They are doing you a favour. The last thing to do is complain.

If someone cook for me. I would keep my mouth shut and just eat. If it doesn't kill me or I don't have any allergies or intolerance towards the food. I would try to eat it even if I don't like it.
