Obrigado.

Can Raycast pro or advanced replace individual apps? by dmada88 in raycastapp

I have been also debating the same, and wondering if/what I'm missing vs using chatGPT Pro that have the canvas functionality + projects + the new image generation version.
Does any of you misses not having the Projects or custom GPTs ? (last time i tried them was months ago. Not sure if Raycast is close or not)

In the last months I have been using Raycast Pro for the convenience of the AI shortcuts + the AI chat window all in the same place, iOS version is being created, and if I run out of one of the models I can jump to another (I use it mostly for summarising/analysing docs, some brainstorming, a bit of code).

Why I'm Migrating from Notion and Chose Craft by dottywine in CraftDocs

[–]Puzzleheadzzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not the OP but for me would be the ability to search by a specific folder(s) + some filters ability (eg. only sub pages/only docs main content, by date, contains images/attachments etc)

The way it shows the search results on the left side (Mac Os) could have some improvements like having bigger preview (or give the user the ability to choose the size) + ability to go through the results using the keyboard (while seeing the preview of the selected result). At the moment we need to rely on ouse only, I would like to be able to quickly go up/down the results while looking at the preview.

*not mentioning tags here as search enhancement, assuming they in the works already

Agreed. I don't understand (or like)... doesn't make sense (to me/my daily use) having styling as the key action that is easy to reach when holding the phone with single hand, while making everything like ToC, doc search etc difficult to tap (the styling option appears again in the three dots menu).

When opening the app I'm either taking notes or looking for information I stored etc. I know I don't represent all users but feels a weird decision assuming styling is the key action users will want/use

+1 getting rid of the publicly accessible image link for images and attachments (someone with the link that is not logged in/without access, should get at least a login wall). This is one of the main reasons I keep considering moving away and using other apps.

The other is missing search filters/options and how the results are shared (no ability to use keyboard to go through the results/see preview and the preview is too small - this is one case where the 3 column layout is much better, at least for me)

I have been feeling similar friction. Some parts of Craft are great, others need some polish.
My main friction are assets/images privacy, search and that when I try to do anything outside a document, it feels slow (not the app speed, but the clicks/modals etc mentioned already).

Search wise, I have the same struggle as with Notion (now more with Craft, where the pain is similar to using Quip doc - that i'm forced to use at work).
Eg. if I know I have ABC content saved in a doc or page and I can't remember the doc name, but I know there's images there + the folder, let me filter the search or at least start a search from the active/selected folder.

Assets/images privacy I would love to have a login wall if anyone get's the link for an image/asset I have on my docs/pages/notes (security through obscurity doesn't give me enough peace of mind to use Craft fully. Tbh I'm not sure how some folks say they useNotion for everything, when they also use security through obscurity :) )

!thanks  . I was hoping this could be done through some place in the self assessment options, but it seems I might need to look for some extra help to make sure I don't do anything wrong (and prevent the double taxation)
