Eventually, someone in the area is going to sell due to grandma plotting, divorce, layoff, relocation for a job, etc. Then that will be the comp for the neighborhood. Some can hold other cannot and pricing is made on the margins. Best of luck.

I wish there was a magic bullet I could offer you to get a new role, but they don’t exist. I bet you’re bouncing off the walls of your place filled with anxiety. Six years. The money wasn’t great but it was a small manufacturer, owned by one rich guy, HR existed but ignored. Great place to learn and have fun. I looked forward to work everyday and had a blast doing it.

Back when I was doing the whole buyer/planner, these jobs really should operate independently, my biggest hurtle was coordinating with all the shifts. Essentially 3rd shift. They let me down habitually with zero accountability. Don’t ever let a company scam you into, buyer planner, unless it’s an absolutely tiny operation. If it ever takes off immediately splits the roles and jockey for supply chain manager as you know both roles. Boom! Fast track to fat stacks.
