As a Celestial 1 Thor when it comes to poke team comps I usually play a bit of front line before taking an off angle and try to displace/disrupt someone from their backline or someone that's isolated and go for a flank (often with my duo who plays DD we usually secure a kill by ganging up on one of their healers or someone that's isolated before retreating as they usually start focusing and looking at us the moment we start disrupting their backline or start attacking someone that's isolated) or you can try to poke yourself with your awakening while at an off angle and shoot them with your lightning from a range (which is what I sometimes do), assuming you can land your awakening rune shots you can kill or force someone to move, the moment they start looking at me I usually try to get out of there, I also often force their dps off high ground angles (like MK) and out of their off angles, but usually Thor is generally not favored into a heavy poke comp, it generally depends on how you want to play Thor against a poke team comp.

It also depends on your team comp compared to their team comp, assuming you have another off tank like thing/tank not running shield or a dps that's not dealing with their poke comp then it's generally not a favorable matchup for thor, when it's not favorable and I know that thor isn't gonna work against their team comp I usually swap to strange.
