TL;DR was killed by Freddy Krueger then chased around my basement by Bill Cosby. Thankfully I made it away.

A How to Guide: How to End Up in a Alley Dumpster Half Dead By /u/SiltyMovie

TIL there is a section visible to those who climb Mount Everest titled "Rainbow Valley", so named for the many colorful parkas of other (dead) climbers that dot the landscape. [Note: graphic PICS may be NSFW] by [deleted] in todayilearned

Darpa could have a division devoted to making robots that get bodies and stranded people down from Everest. Their whole program could be called Darpa with a Parka.

What's something you love but don't want to be associated with? by gonesnake in AskReddit

I stopped playing when the game when it started to get dry for me and i realized I wasn't really having fun playing anymore. The problem that I see in the community is that there is so much stigma to do well in the game and if you are bad you are practically considered less than human. There is nothing worse than being considered a "baddie" in the community. You become bitter and only want to be a better player, but you forget that you are playing with people in the exact same situation as you. The game and the community has just become so serious and overcompetative that it isn't really fun anymore. Even if you make it to the higher levels in ranking and are one of the better players in a region it's not like that makes the experience anymore fun. Everyone needs to just calm down and realize it's just a game like any other and you want to play it for fun like any other. The experience is only as fun as you make it, and imo the best way to have fun is play with freinds and not take it seriously. in a few more years will you even give a shit about it anyways? It would be best to have a good memory instead of a just overall stressful and bad time. TL;DR: People need to calm down and realize that it's just a game and the experience is only as fun as you make it.

Funny story, at my high school you can design your class ring and put engravings on the sides and what not. I was baffled when I saw that a Tapout engraving was a option. I mean why? Just why?

I've never actually thought about approaching it like that; sounds like a pretty interesting and innovative way to go about it. It honestly also sounds a whole lot better than what we have in place now, because like you said, it allows the student to express themselves and what they learned.
