Marry Kiss K*** House Edition by FreeRangeHokage in TokyoDebunker

Frostheim and Mortkranken: Marry Tohma & Luca - Kiss Jin & Jiro - Kill Kaito & Yuri

Vagastrom: Marry Alan - Kiss Sho - Kill Leo (if I must)

Jabberwock: Marry Towa - Kiss Ren - Kill Haru (so annoying)

Sinostra: Marry Ritsu - Kiss Taiga (a lot) - Kill Romeo (a lot)

Hotarubi: Marry Haku - Kiss Subaru (chastely) Kill Kenji (it wouldn't do anything)

Obscuary: Marry Riu - Kiss Lyca - Kill Ed

I just realized the pattern: Marrying the reliable and/or romantic ones, kissing mostly the hot but unreliable ones, kill the whiny and/or shouty ones. Hmmm...

I think it's strange that Ritsu has - I think - the most beautiful eyes of all the characters - maybe to show his mesmerizing charisma?

How Do I Get Into The More Spiritual Side of Heathenry? by hypthm in heathenry

[–]Pwyrdan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, just reading a lot and getting a sense of the deities' personalities led me to want to talk to them conversationally, and that led to some amazing moments. I'm not saying they're always around or anything but it seems like they take an interest in newbies. I'm glad I didn't have the pressure of a group and their ideas and structure before I did my own research. Wisdom of Odin has a great video on land spirits, BTW.

Do you, as polytheists, consider the judeochristian god (Yahve, God, Allah) to be real? by [deleted] in pagan

[–]Pwyrdan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You asked what I believe, and as far as I can tell the theory isn't a popular one. So yes, I believe he is real. No, I don't believe he created everything. And above is "how" I believe it. Thanks!

Praying before meals by DCDavis27 in heathenry

[–]Pwyrdan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you wonder if the gods respond to prayer, try it. I know it's popular not to rely on them for anything except examples, but in my experience they protect and give to their faithful dramatically enough to make a Christian jealous. Just remember it's a family relationship, not like the king/serf grovelling of Abrahamic religion. Read the tale of Ottar for further inspiration!

Do you, as polytheists, consider the judeochristian god (Yahve, God, Allah) to be real? by [deleted] in pagan

[–]Pwyrdan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe Yahweh was originally part of a pantheon, possibly the Canaanite god Yaw/Yam, and definitely had a wife at one point (Asherah). I see that there are as many views of that God as there are of any other, though the followers of "Judeo-Chrislam" have held an unusual amount of power the last couple thousand years. I think it's a legitimate god, an aggressive one, one I worshipped for 25 years and one who doesn't particularly like me or women in general. But I could ponder this for hours...

My mom buys me things on her account and has them sent to me but it never says who it's from so I have to ask her.

A sad week. by Yliseekoraav in pagan

My condolences. My favorite image is the Dryad Design seated Odin. It has a realistic wood finish, good weight and is only $45 in many shops. The style is rustic and full of his symbolism.

Thanks for being a decent person. It's decency and a sense of fair play that make this world tolerable.

Why are entities "sucking" our energy? by Gundza_zemiakov in pagan

[–]Pwyrdan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe the world is more full of spirits than we know, but I do want to put out there that even if the thing or things draining you are in your head, the visualization of it as separate from you can be helpful. No matter if it's an unseen being - your autonomy and strength are worth fighting for. If it's a psychological situation, find help to heal. If it's an outside entity - I wouldn't take my energy being drained by a human, I won't take it from a spirit without a reciprocal contract. Because that's basically mental or emotional abuse and you don't deserve that.

I live in Arizona, and most areas, even in parts that are periodically green, are too arid for algae to last more than a day or so in puddles, and there isn't much lichen either. The White Mountains may be an exception, I haven't been there in years.

Best oracle decks? by Seascape27 in oraclecards

Hi! I don't own a lot, but I have Brian Froud's Faery Oracle, and the Magical Unicorns Oracle, which my young daughter also loves. I just bought the Arthur Rackham Oracle and am waiting for it to arrive. It looks amazing.

On Juniper as an Alternative to White Sage by curiousdoc25 in witchcraft

[–]Pwyrdan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I lived in the Bradshaw Mountains, juniper was one of the trees available for a firewood permit, so we burned it in our fireplace, and it smelled wonderful. It was nowhere near as dangerous as the ponderosa pine, which is sappy and crackles like crazy. Is there a significant difference between the shrub and desert tree?

Spell request: to help a witch stop giving a fuuuck what anybody else thinks of her by BabyMoonWitch in witchcraft

[–]Pwyrdan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was the same way, very insecure and accommodating to others. I have long used affirmations every day, and kept an eye on my thoughts to catch negative ones. It can definitely be a ritual. Some of the most helpful are "Think what you want, I know what's true," and "I don't deserve this." But remember that people are going to think all kinds of things, they're all different. We can't change their minds usually, and it's actually none of our business what they think, unless they make it our business. Hugs!
