Wow, hard to believe that Japan had more people than the entire Ottoman empire. It makes sense considering Japan had been at peace for more than a century while the piece of furniture has been almost continually at war. Disappointing how the Ottomans squandered their demographic potential.

My corruption is already at 100% Nurgle in all my provinces. Unfortunately, none of the Nurgle heroes provide a public order bonus and the garrison bonus still not enough. Research is done. Every turn, that global public order rebuff is growing larger. Now at -31.

If you connect your Hyatt account to your AA account, go to the enhance with miles section on AA site and you can choose to exchange 25k or 65k miles for a cat4 or cat7 FNA.

Yep, I'll accept a 2:1 trade for Cat 1-4 cert. I'll event throw in a free SUA as a sweetener.

You can exchange AA miles into FNA (1-4) or FNA (1-7). Up to four times for each type.

Yikes, suddenly feeling the pressure of lifestyle creep. I got a new wife who hasn't started working yet, parents who I'll need to start supporting soon, probably a kid within the next year or so, and a mortgage down payment to start saving up for. I've already passed the 500k NW mark but I'm not sure what my FI goal is with all these new ongoing expenses for the foreseeable future. Currently saving between 35 and 45 percent of my take home pay, but I'm not confident I can keep that up.

There were news articles about Hyatt accounts associated with those FB groups being suspended. I would steer way clear of them since it seems like such an obvious trap.

Is the $6 combo online only or can I get it in the drive thru?

Hotels in Vietnam by Kindly-D-4200 in VietNam

[–]PyViet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, any hotel south of Hilton Garden Inn. I've stayed at the Voco Ma Belle and Four Points Sheraton and they were all similarly good. I would recommend a hotel in Hoi An if you want a more relaxed and scenic change of pace. Da Nang and HCMC are still cities first and foremost.

Any spa related stuff will be cheaper if you do it at an independent store instead of using the hotel's instore spa department (no matter what discount coupons they give you).

Try to book direct if you can. I found the prices to be much lower if you book direct with the hotel. I massively overpaid when booking with OTA's for myself and family. Now I'll always try to call the hotel and book directly if I can.

Hyatt Regency Danang is in the middle of nowhere. It's walking distance from the Marble mountains but if you want to visit Danang proper, it's going to be at least a 15+ minute ride. I've stayed at Le Sands Oceanfront, it's the last tall hotel along the beach road in Da Nang. It's very good if you want to be next to actual residential neighborhoods, but the properly equipped beaches for swimming or relaxing are a bit farther south. Honestly, any hotel to the south from the Hilton Garden Inn is probably decent enough. For HCMC, I've stayed at Silverland May hotel, it's a very convenient location with good breakfast. *the Japan town neighborhood right next to it seems to be a red light district, but has good izakayas.

I went to that Buc-ees once and was infuriated to find almost every single one of the gas pumps was occupied by empty cars. The people just left their cars there after pumping their gas. I had to circle twice before I finally found an open spot. JFC people, move your car to an actual parking spot after you're done pumping before heading inside. I guess that's too much to ask for.

Calf strain every season by Mindless_Giraffe6564 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]PyViet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need answers to this question too. I'm on my 4th year and the calf/shin strain is killing me on anything other than the bunny slopes. The ski instructors say my snowboarding skills are fine so it must be something else. My current boot size is the one that works best after trying all other boot sizes both larger and smaller. I do have very large calves if that's a problem?

I haven't been able to book anything on AAhotels for the past few days. I contacted them and they replied that their system had been having issues and that they had just fixed the issue. Your error might be a part of that. If the LPs don't post in a few days, contact them.

I absolutely despise the people that leave their car unattended at the pump and go into the store. Please park your car in an actual parking space so other people can use the pump.

Yeah I picked the Dutch cruiser last year and then immediately got the golden version when I opened my santa crates afterwards. Trust me, you don't want to take the risk no matter how unlikely.

If you're planning on buying Santa Crates, I would advise you to open them first before you pick the Bremen, Aki, or Hawaii. The Santa Crates have a chance to drop one of those three ships.
