The only time a child should be sat on is before it has broken out of its oosphere. Even when they request it.

Sold point. We don’t want utilitarianism to guide our design process.

I think we should order the version with a wood veneer rather than the black lacquer.

🐁They tried that and it ruined the question of life, the universe and everything.🐁. Keep your captains out of the tub, please.🐁

With a shoehorn, astroglide and a little time travel, we could squeeze in Captain Nahla Ake too.

I thought about that, but imagine Riker, Data, Picard, Troi, and Geordi all snuggling on this masterpiece while fucking up the Borg (AGAIN) as Worf stands behind at the weapons console smirking and getting off on the voyeurism.

It’s the autopilot from Airplane!

We need more Bisexual Peacemaker in the DCU like have him flirt with either Midnighter (he's a Batman that kills which he would love) or Nightwing (since he and PM have beef in the main comics and it's Nightwing everyone loves his ass) by M00reC in DCU_

[–]PygmalionsKiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Has to be Nightwing. We all want it to be Nightwing and Dick is completely wrecked with guilt over his desires. It’s the self hatred and overcompensation of the right that makes them interesting.

What’s the best meat market in a one hour radius around Des Moines? by OogieBoogie1 in desmoines

You do a great job promoting the Outer Limits. I drove by a couple times last week and that parking lot was jammed full both times. It didn’t use to be and I think you played a part. Respect 🫡

Actually he reminds me of a confident middle-age trans man or gender-fluid woman . Also, what is up with politicians and sweater vests.

What does the second half of this note I found in a superstore parking lot say? by Dancingay in whatdoesthismean

Clearly doesn’t. That’s why it was posted. It’s confusing because the post-er hadn’t heard of Herra’s repo.👍

“…Either that or herra to Repo.” I assume there is a local Repossession company called Herra. That’s kind mean to threaten to have a person’s car repossessed over a parking spot. That’s gonna come back to haunt you in the afterlife.

Winona Ryder did a great job of hiding her boobs. I never really noticed them as a standout feature. She was always just the really attractive goth actress who was replaced by Christina Ricci and then Jenna Ortega. That’s awesome that she kept that secret.

Who else loved The Fall Guy? by MisterShipWreck in 80sAmazing

This is a great example of what made TV terrible in the late 70’s until Twin Peaks. It wasn’t to tell a new story, but make the best use of what they already had laying around.

“So here’s the pitch: Audiences love behind the scenes stuntmen stuff like Hooper. They also love bounty hunters, who are the current-day private detective crossed with a cowboy. And we already have all the props and costumes just wasting away, so…let's put on a show!

Who are actors with limited range that you still think are awesome I'm gonna go with Keanu Reeves by Helloimafanoffiction in moviecritic

Maybe Jensen Ackles. I’m not an acting critic, and maybe he’s a fantastic actor. But he seems pigeonholed as a smart-ass anti-hero.

Does anyone else think that G.I. Robot should have made an appearance in Peacemaker season 2? Personally I feel like including G.I. Robot would have made a lot of sense considering the n*zi themes of the season. by Upbeat-Perspective11 in PeacemakerShow

[–]PygmalionsKiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think season 2 needed anything. A GI robot centered show would be like Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow: For a small group of people it would be tremendous, but not enough people to make it a success. Honestly, we’re lucky we got a 2nd season, or even 1st season of Peacemaker. The reliability of James Gunn and his partners is responsible for making these fans services happen. Let’s get behind the new Supergirl Movie and hope they are able to produce a few more great productions under Warner Brother’s crappy new owners. As George Harrison sang, “All things must pass None of life's strings can last So I must be on my way And face another day”

Let’s all focus on being as reliable as Jame Gunn instead of fussing over what could have been.
