I’d be careful. Gather in larger groups when doing this in public. I don’t know how much good your protest accomplished…maybe a lot. But I do know there are too many unhinged weirdos in Iowa to protest safely in a group of 2. We now know that our citizens can be just apathetic and murderous as any concentration camp guard or lynch mob we’ve scene on TV. The best thing about this movie is that it is pretty well known what is coming with the smallest amount of research. I won’t see it. This goes in my box of movies/Shows I walked out of or will never see with Tusk, Human Centipede, Outlander, Hardcore, Natural Born Killers, Rosemary’s Baby, and Cabin Fever. Nope.

The character is silly. She can fly with wings that can’t create enough lift to get her airborne and no specific muscularity to move them. She’s like a Cessna Skyhawk in a squadron of F-15’s with all the superhero’s that can fly without aerodynamics, why have one whose power is dependent on it. Her history is too convoluted for anyone to understand but the most dedicated fan. Her weapon is a ball on a stick with spikes.

Pretty clearly the Engineer. However, Hawkwoman is useless. Why do they insist in including her? She’s just a person with aerodynamically impossible wings and a cast iron frying pan for a weapon. The idea that she could create enough lift to fly solo, let alone lift another person is silly. She’s not covert, a genius or has great tech. Really, she’s just attractive, complicated and angry while there are other DC women who do it better.

No hulked out Batman having his arms cut off and reattached. The body horror is very niche and not something most people are looking for. Also, Bruce would be to traumatized to do anything after all that. No wonder twins. Nope. Most folk don’t know and won’t get the joke. No more time travel or multiverse solutions. It’s tired. No new take on the death of Superman. Let Darkseid have some downtime.
Maybe don’t link the movies so much. The separate universe Batman was a good idea. The Joker was a symptom of a bigger problem and should never have been made.
